Brainstorming a dervish build
melantus
I was going for a d/m as a damage dealer. I want my dervish to be just a damage dealing unit nothing more. So I was planing on being enchantment heavy by using a lot of the smite abilities offered by monk in conjunction with those offered by the dervish primary. My skill from monk were going to be judge insight + strength and honor to buff up my attack output. Dervish skills I don't exactly know that well so I was wondering what people might come up with to make this build work. I'd also like some input if what I'm even thinking about doing will even be viable. So all constructive critisim is welcome.

D/M isn't usually used as a damage dealer, normally you would use one as a tank for a damage dealer you wold probably wanna use a D/W.
Although you could use Balthazar's Spirit for energy gain which would help you spam attacks like eremite's attack, mystic sweep or victorious sweep but that is the only way a damage dealer can benefit from a monk secondary ( as far as I can see ).
So either use it as a tank or change your secondary. ( Only what I think though ).

You can put 3-4 points into smiting and use judges insight+extend enchantments so you dont have to pour many points into smiting and use more into mysticism.

/Mo benefits a damage-dealer by giving him Mending Touch, and the like.

As a damage dealer dervish, your four staple skills should be:
- Elite Form (Mysticism)
- Heart of Fury (mysticism)
- Eternal Aura (sunspear)
- Aura of Holy Might (Luxon/Kurzick)
If you want to go /Mo for the smite ability (which is not the choice I would do), bring Judge insight OR Strenght of Honor. You could go with 2 both but they are an energy/attribute burden. It's quite better to have a smite monk with you that will boost you than to do it yourself.
Then fill the rest with attack skills.
I generally choose Melandru's form (condition free and combines well with powerful dervish attack) with Wearying strike, Chilling Victory and Eremite's attack.

It's hard to deal damage while blind. AVATAR OF MELANDRU FTW.

Mending touch is non-elite and can be used with a standard energy pool at all times with no attribute investment.
