coming back, and have questions

i bought GW back when it was new, i played it a bit and didn't like it (it didn't feel anything like an mmo... what with the barriers of where i can go and the fact that i never was actually playing with everyone at the same time), but whatever. now i've decided to give it another go, but i've seen that therers a lot of expansions that came out for it. do i have to buy them to keep up with everybody? if i was to come back and play with the original game is there anyone that still plays it?

There's a lot of people still in Prophecies (Chapter 1). Stick with that and see if you like it.

Yep still here and been helping a lot of new and returning players recently (with the drop in price of all three chapters, theres been an influx of new blood)
