Bergen Bot Springs

Can someone tell me how the bots are farming like mad? I wouldn't mind having the build.

And... is it against the rules to buy from bots? Some of them are really smart. >> Might be mistaken as... human.

shield of judgement, prot spirit, shield of absorption, shielding hands, blessed aura, balthazar's spirit, mystic regeneration, last slot can be w/e, personally I find balthazar's aura pretty good when used properly

sup monk runes on all armour pieces, energy inscriptions, -50hp grim cesta, enchanting sword/axe/spear

search 55hp monk if you need any more help

Most bots don't use SoA or Mystic. Most bots don't have all three chapters or even two for that matter.

Hard Mode would be assuming they have completed NM which is probably very unlikely.

Check the farming sub-forum for numerous builds.

bots = monks with no guild, grey tatoos, short or even random letter names ( er jaasd) and get stuck on the sign when they leave to zone.

I would imagine that the bots have finished the game in prophecies and can now farm in Hard Mode. run to Beacons....run to THK.....run thru last 3 missions....farm in hard mode. not to hard to do but most likely it is

run to LA to sanctum cay...thru desert...ascend....back to beacons and then thru the end. I doubt if the bots in Bergen hot springs are farmining in normal mode. I agree that most of them don't use SoA or Mystic ....but it is possible...with epic trial key....take bot to Temple switch secondaries....instant Monk/Dev

i take it they are farming gold but what are the killing?

the are killing the undead.... the rangers etc.. I usually run thru the 2 ranger groups....then the 2-3 mele/sorcerer group in the middle....then the 2 ranger groups at the end of the plains....leave the mesmers/monks kill sorceres/rangers run past the monks at the end of the area.....go to next zone go to the left kill all groups up until the last set of rangers.....run back to previous area....DIE once....switch weapon sets.... and repeat when i get full i head back to town...mostly blue/purple runes...bones...dust...lockpicks..and various normal tomes and golds.

They are killing undead, which is why they sell Dead Bows.

And it's hard to tell bots from humans who sell in places like LA because people can be pretty dumb or unresponsive too.

If bots still solo does that mean loot scaling does'nt work?

Yes it does, but bots can still keep on farming.. Remember, no humans are controlling them, and no ones time is wasted. It's a fast farm, and in the length the money will heap up

this is pathetic, i went and checked this out last night. Bergen is just as bad as Drocks and troll farming.

i stood at the sign for about two minutes and counted, and yes i did count, over two hundred bots leave the town.

once again this proves that loot scaling does not effect the bots it only screws over the real players of the game. gg A-Nerf

its not all bots. I often farm there throughout my work day. I do 1-2 runs and it usually nets a nice little profit. So don't assume its all bots

see how many people go to the sign most real people dont need to go to a sign to leave an outpost

Personally, I do not farm there any more just because I do not want to get banned. I do have a suggested “better” hard mode farm location that I found away from the Bots. To speed it up you need a -20 off hand because you do die to get there. Go to Temple of Ages walk outside to your left a ways is a Dragon run to him and die. Now you are at a rez shrine behind you is a passage that goes to a new location follow it and zone. Set all enchantments and go attack all the ghouls (Many of them) you can actually clear the whole map solo in hard mode. Bring lock picks chest do spawn (easy spawn to repeat and rez station close to zone portal)

well i would say 95% of bots dont have hard mode 2.5% bots have hard mode and the other 2.5% is people who bought their bot from ebay and play the game. Also i woulnd worry about geting banned farming at hotsprings cus when u goto cursed lands they know your not a bot. The bots are farming the first 2 or 3 groups then maping back and starting over.

Also they keep my 55monks inventory packed with gold items when i'm in hm.

ok 99% of them are bots. does that make it better? A-Net needs to fix this. They brag about the 5000 or so bots they just kicked but that wasnt even a dent.

loot scaling has done nothing to help this the only thing that will is A-Net realizing that they are going to have to hire someone to go into the game and find them, this isnt really hard all you have to do is read these or other fansite forums and you will find out where they are farming.

One GW Dev/Admin/inturn/janitor could sit in Bergen for one night and compile a list of hundreds of bots and boot them. Oh but wait all of our resources are being piled on GW:EN and GW2 and we dont really care if the people in GW1 are unhappy that just means they will buy GW:EN and GW2 so they dont have to play GW1.
