Concerning GW:EN and ANets shop. . .

I'm curious, since Anet is offering the purchase of GW:EN in the online shop, will we be able to get a preorder pack on there? Or is the preorder pack an exclusive to actual retail stores?

I would much rather order directly from the GW online shop, as I never had any problem with it at all and it gets added directly to my account.

You are correct. However, Gaile has said that this one will be offered through the online store.

Also, just to clarify, There is no such thing as a Pre-Order pack. These are and always have been prerelease bonus packs. A way to get some goodies and give ANet some money (this time around in any case) but in no way tied to the pre-ordering of the full package (even though some stores may handle it that way).

Yes, many stores did handle it that way. you buy the pre-release pack and go back with your receipt to get that money off the game when you purchase it.
