About us
-) [HotR] is primarily a PVE guild but have a small group of members that like to play TA, HA and will volunteer for GvG in our alliance.

-) We are Kurzick, no faction farming required though. We've owned towns in the past but no longer have an interest in that aspect of the game.

-) Fully loaded guild hall, Isle of Solitude

-) If you are looking for a guild just for the cape, you may not be a fit. We like to change the cape on a monthly basis on average. It's changes for holidays and sometimes for funny jokes.

-) Most of our members have multiple level 20 characters who have finished multiple campaigns. We have a good handful of members who are working on vanquishing titles and others.

-) We are extremely mellow, helpful and friendly. We have a vast range of players with varying experience levels from uber DoA people to casual part time PvE noobs.

-) We are also primarily an adults only guild (18yrs +) with a very small handful of exceptions. So we ask that all future guild members be a minimum of 18 years please. Our alliance is also 90% adults.

-) We are in an 8 guild alliance with some other fairly large and knowledgable guilds. Some of the guilds in the alliance do GvG from time to time.

-) Our guild has been in operation since April, 2006, however there are a small group of original players who have played together since April, 2005 who have been in various guilds together before starting our own.

-) We have a very friendly and helpful guild who are nice to new players. While we are not necessarily socially conservative, we do have a strong moral code where we don't tolerate scammers, begging, racism or any other type of hatred towards groups.

Activity Level:-) Since we are an adult guild with most of our member who have full time jobs or full time college students, our rules for kicking due to inactivity are much more relaxed than a lot of other guilds. We understand that real life gets in the way sometimes. We usually only kick people who haven't even logged on once for over a three month period without telling us that they will be away. The only reason we have kicked sooner than that was due to guild size.

-) If you are kicked for inactivity due to a purge, we are happy to reinvite you.

Communications:
Ventrilo information (Vent) will be given out to all members who desire it. We do not require anyone to use vent or TS.

Direction-) [HotR] is, always has been, and always will be a PvE oriented guild. You will never be forced to PvP or FF.

-) [HotR] is all about fun times and not about spazzing over rank.

Current Members:
-) We have 70 people in our guild (10 officers). We may look mega due to 70 members but that's because we are a working class guild and I allow people to go inactive for a few months at a time because I've found, believe it or not, a lot do come back. Life happens. We average about 30 players a day though. There seem to be a minimum of 5 people in game on average.

-) Our average age is 27 years old, with a range from 17 as our youngest member and 64 for our oldest member. We have married couples, college students, doctors, techies, writers, and many others.

-) Time Zones: Our players are mostly EST/CST players, about 10 PST players, 2 from Hawaii, 1 player in Singapore and 1 player in Holland. We also have players that work odd hours as well, so we have a pretty good range of people on most hours.

We ask that as a courtesy you give us a week long chance before deciding we aren't a fit instead of guild hopping after an hour.
