Nightfall to prophecies

I've had Nightfall for a week, and I found out that to get live vicariously a monk skill that I want for my De/Mo I need to get Prophecies.

So today I bought prophecies (50% off) very cheap and now I found I ahve to do this Time is Nigh quest to access the docks.

Only thing is, I'm already lvl 15 and gained Sunspear Commander and when I talk to Putta he doesn't give me any more missions. I think I've already done the quest and completed it (but honestly I can't remember doing it)

Would I have already done it? Or should I keep on doing quests till he tells me I'm right to go.

***Since I've got both prophecies and nightfall, you'd think there should be an easier way for may to travel between the two with my dervish/monk***

I'm assuming I haven't reached these quests yet? Or this could turn out to bea a huge disaster.

I've heard that you need to get the quest "The Time is Nigh" from Puuba in the Sunspear Great Hall and then you gain access to the Consulate Docks. From here I'm assuming you then never finish the quest so that you may repeatedly enter Consulate Docks (CD) with whomever is in your party. I've done CD with a non-nightfall character but can no longer take other party members there if they don't have the "Nigh" quest. I've completed that quest with this same character as well. Is this the only way to ferry to CD?

Basically yeah, you accept the quest that takes you to Consulate Docks, load up on people in Kamadan, do the quest, and then abandonl it when you get there instead of taking the reward. Rinse and repeat. ---
