Dervish skills so faaaar away

Hey all...

I was looking up a few builds on here for my new dervish and then started looking for the relevent skills... But they are sooooo far away, Dau (Mouth of torment) has Mystic regen, Convicion and others...

Anyone else find this annoying, or did you just PvP unlock and derv tomb them? Cos i am seriously considering doing this.

My question, does dervish become workable when you hit the mainland?

I had mystic regen, conviction, victor sweep after some PvP .
And on the mainland you have the avatars, reapers sweep and vow of strength
very close together. And the little island is more like a tutorial for me.
So yes the dervish comes to his full right on the mainland

talk to the priest of Balthazar and unlock the skill you need then buy it in Kamadon

PvP. trapping the ziashen takes all of 5 minutes.

Yeah, but I blew all my balth faction on my ranger, hehehehehe... I have like 850 and not in the mood to PVP...

I got mine the long way. Didn't really care about unlocking it and have never really taken advantage of that system (I started well in the days well before this was possible and do not really care that much). I find it kinda interesting to see how they chose to have the skills available.

However, if you do not want to do *real* PvP keep in mind that there are the "training" stuff available. If your recall when you first got to the battle isles you had to unlock some modes through fighting against AI in PvP arena's? Those are repeatable and take about 10-15 minutes to unlock two skills. Once unlocked they are available at all skill trainers - no need for a tome.

From the Great Temple of Balthazar enter the Isle of the Nameless, just to your right is the Master of Paths. Talk to him, ask him about his training areas and you will go to fight the AI. Easy faction, see here for a more detailed explanation if you do not already know if it.

Yeah... I actually had an alliance mate tell me about the Zaishen Challenge... I did that and got the faction i need... I have MR now and my 130HP derv is rocking!!!
