Hi there.
I'm an officer in a UK based guild, The League Of Friends [LOF]. We currently have about 40 members and are looking to increase that number up to 50 by recruiting active, mature (well, ish ) players with an ideal age of 18+. Our average age currently is about 27 but we have members varying from 16 to 48 so as you can imagine, we know how to take things seriously but we always make sure we have a good laugh in the process .
We are a very friendly guild that focuses mainly on PvE, however we do have a few members who enjoy the odd skirmish into AB, TA, etc... We have regular guild outings most nights of the week varying from hard mode and normal mode missions and vanquishing to clearing areas such as FoW, UW, Tombs, etc... Even when an outing isn't taking place there is more often than not a group itching to cause some serious damage somewhere across the 3 campaigns .
Our members are almost always more than willing to help each other out or just muck in and have a good time with whatever people want to do.
We look to recruit people who would like to become long term members, so we do ask that you visit our guild hall for a brief and hopefully not too painful chat with some members and officers before we agree to invite you as a member.
Level of experience and ability are not an issue in The League Of Friends. We accept players of all levels of experience. There are some players who have done most of everything there is to do, and others who have only been playing a short while. Help and advice is always forthcoming whenever asked for.
The main thing we ask for in our members is that they are friendly and enjoy themselves when online. Feel free to chat and make friends, it's why we're here. One thing you will not find in The League Of Friends is intimidation or talking down to. Indeed, if anyone is found to be rude and elitist then they will be warned not to do so again, however i cannot remember the last time this was needed. We also have a Teamspeak server for use by our members to chat and communicate with each other, however use of this is by no means a requirement.
We have a brand spanking new forum at - http://lofguild.co.uk/index.php?action=forum
Feel free to have a look around and drop a message in the "Membership Applications" section if you feel we may be able to offer what you are looking for.
Alternatively you can whisper our recruiting officer Biggus Davius or myself in game (IGN Blue Smoker).
Whatever you decide, just remember to have fun above all else.
