Well, I dont have money to purchase all 3 guild wars, and im not sure which one to get. If i get Nightfall or Factions, am i gonna get all the armors from the previous guild wars, because i was told u have to have both to travel between worlds, but can i purchase and wear the armor from Prophecies? Any help on choosing would be great, thnx.

Since all armors became insignia compatible, armor in every campaign is balanced. The only difference how they look.

In factions, you would be able to buy some of the Prophecies basic armor skins (3 sets). In nightfall, you cannot find any Prophecies armor skins. Only in Prophecies can you get all of the Proph armor skins, including 15k versions.

That link will show you what you can get in each campaign.

EDIT: also check the sticky at the top of this forum for picking which campaign to buy.

if only getting one, go with prophecies. it is the only game with a propper intro for new players. the others dont teach you how to play.

No, armor is custom-crafted for you by the armor merchants - you cannot use armor that was crafted for another player. The only reason you might want to buy armor from someone else would be to salvage a rune or insignia from it, which you could then apply to your armor.
