1. Can i download all 3 factions?
2. If yes then my friend is giving me his account/pw to log in to... that would work right? (hes quitting gw)

1./2. Yes. You just have to download the Client and the rest will be downloaded when needed.

just be prepared for a long set of downloads...

i dont know if you'll have to download all the updates seperatley or not. when i got a new comp i had the game disks, but it took over 2 hours to download all the updates from release.

It would make more sense to download the client and have your mate burn hs guild wars dat file to a disk so when you start up the game and it starts to download up dates you can just exit it and replace you dat file with his hence saving you the trouble of a very long download.

Mind you, it's still a violation of the terms of service, IIRC. No transferring existing accounts...

besure that its a good friend and that you trust him...alot of accounts have been banned and then resold....which makes them no useable.
