hi I'm a new GW players and I have only prophecies campaign.I'm looking for tips about ranger class
I have a max recurve bow and studded leather set
I've read all of the guides, ranger basics and etc but i'm looking for more, so I can be a better ranger =D
and I'd like to know some build especially PvE that don't use elite skills because I don't have any yet
Thanks in advance!

Get a warrior weapon, some weapon attacks, a max level pet and a pet attack or two. Then you can kill stuff.
If you don't like killing stuff, keep your bow and use savage shot and distracting shot on every poor caster you come up against. Your recurve bow is excellent for this.
If you want to play PvP, create a PvP-only ranger character and unlock crippling shot at the reward NPC. You can use any skill you have unlocked for for PvE ranger on the PvP ranger.
Have fun!

Tips:
Don't use preparation skills if you plan to use Barrage. Barrage removes all Preparation skills you are using.
You can only use 1 preparation skill at a time, so don't load up your skill bar with preparation skills.
I use Druids armor for my Ranger, then I use Winter, so all elemental damage becomes cold. With my additional defense against cold, I can survive well.
A very basic non-elite build:
Savage Shot
Distracting Shot
Dual Shot/Tigers Fury
Ignite Arrow
Favorable Winds
Lightning Reflexes
Troll Ungent
Rez Signet
Hope this helps.

Hey man...
Get a warrior weapon is just LAWL unless you thinking of thumping...
Dude, play the game, if you've read all the guides and stuff then you already have a good baser of knowledge. Now it comes down to experience. Try new things and don't be afraid to break the mould...

Expertise - - Heap points on it - makes mana go further
Preparations - - are great like poison, even with only a few points on W/S
Take a stance - - like whirling defence
Take an interrupt skill - - nothing sweeter than stopping a skill
Troll - - misunderstood skill can negate degen, remember you can use before battle begins.
Throw dirt is a nice skill to have in your bar too.
imo Rangers are the most versitle chars in the game you will have fun.

Otyouts Cry (sp) is really good around Kryta I did well with my Ranger around there and Alesia stayed alive more.My favourite preps are Read of the Wind,Kindle Arrows and Apply Poison.
