Storage just for your minipets

I did a search for minipet storage and storage for minipets that turned up nothing so I started this thread thinking this idea would be great for us mini collectors.

I would like to see a storage space/NPC added just for minipets(like they did for the festival hats possibly) for those of us who collect minipets. Pretty soon my regular storage will be full of nothing but minipets the way its going now. What's the use in handing out minis if there is no viable way of keeping them except for creating a mule character just to house your minis.

Yes please, I have 20 slots just for minipets and no you don't sell your pets !

I have a pig and a hydra but i have full storage so every little helps

mabey they should make it like the material storage with pictures of the mini pet and either a 1 or 0 next to each mini pet (1 been the highest number of stackable mini pets which are the same )

We have the potential to have 80 slots in storage if you have all 3 campaigns, and that isnt enough for you???

I said this in another thread asking for virtually the same thing; dont start another plague of threads asking for more storage space.

Anet already increased the amount by 4, what more do you want?

You honestly wont be happy until you have 10000 slots!

Surely 20 slots in one section is enough for all your pets? I havent even used half my space up yet and ive been doing this 2 years!

Just dont keep so much stuff!!! I really cant believe people are still asking for storage increases or different storage features, after Anet increased it from 20 to 80!

Sooooooooo, im not asking for more storage slots but a corral of sorts to keep our minipets at. Plus where do you get 80 storage slots? I have all 3 campaigns and across all 3 they share the same storage, so i count 40 slots and a materials tab, unless your talking about having 2 accounts, then you would have 80 slots plus 2 materials tabs, I have enough trouble keeping up with 1 account/10 character spots.

I agree to this too, my girlfriend collects minipets and she definately needs storage of its own for them lol! Id like to have some myself as ive gotten a few myself too.

As for the "You honestly wont be happy until you have 10000 slots!" the reason i need so many storage slots is because im the prize draw person for my guild and i have to keep a lot of stuff for prizes for the winners.

actually i think you have to count again each tab does have 20 spots not 10 so he is right about 80 slots. but yes id love to see a minipet storage

My apologies to freekedoutfish as rick1027 states there are 20 slots per storage tab so I DIGRESS on the amount of currently held storage but REGRESS on the need for a minipet NPC like that for the festival hats.

there goes fish screaming at a forum again. this guy really needs some anger management, or start getting a thing called a real life. anywho, I wouldn't mind mini pet storage...or have a slot on your character inventory screen for a mini pet (next do your weapon/offhand slot)

even if we have more storage, your just ganna end up using it and wanting more.

And I have an idea how to do it, a simple and doable way:

*A new NPC, just like the holiday hat maker,
*He can take a pet from your character and it appears on his list, so any character on your account can go and pick it up,
*Obviously, taking a pet from him would remove it from the list (no duping),
*The NPC would be able to store 1 of every kind of pet,
*Technically it would require only 1 bit of data for each kind of minipet in existance (0-1 value, either you have this one or not)

I realise that a special storage tab for minipets would be much more comfortable to use, but there may be certain difficulties that make this much harder to do.

Fair enough, I didnt read your post properly! But it is a potential total of 80 slots, and thats ALOT!

Freek, as an example, like i said i am collecting minis and there are currently 45 of them out(with more to come i'm sure, so, there goes over half of my storage capability with just the 45 already out if i get lucky enough to obtain them all, so, again if there was an NPC provided to stable our minis(no more than 1 of each kind) I wouldn't beg for more storage, I can just keep putting stuff on my mules and buy more character slots for more mules as extra storage, It's just id like my minis readily available without having to change character. Until then call me a WAHHHHHHHHHHHMBULANCE.

Why not have weapon storage? or dye storage? or armor storage? or rune storage? or storage for something that actually contributes towards your character.

I get you like to collect mini pets and there are alot of them, but you could make the same arguement about ANYTHING. You could be a collector of weapons, dye, tokens, armor, xmas gear etc etc etc.

Does that mean we have to have a specialised storage NPC for each and every type of collectable item that someone might want?

What if Anet gave you a mini pet NPC storage person, and it held all the current max amount. What about when the add new ones? Should they have to keep adding more space, over and over again as new ones are released?

I appreciate your situation, and it cant be fun running out of space for your little critters, but whos to say which items should get a unique NPC storage guy and which dont?

If they give you a mini pet one, people will want a wardrobe storage, and then a weapon storage, and then a dye storage. It wont end.

We have hat storage, because those are once a year events that are special. My opinion is that you just need to use your space more carefully. Sorry if that sounds harsh, but 80 spaces is quite a few to have. You say you have 40 pets, so whats using up the other 40 spaces?

No fish I explained there are 45 minis available ATM, I only have 15 minis but my storage also holds an extra set of armor for my 55 monk farmer(I keep all inventory spots open on him for drops) I also have LOTS of keys covering all 3 campaigns(needed), 5 dyes that i horde, items i hold onto trying to sell, highly salvageable incriptions(name says it all for it), quest items(needed for when i return to that quest). I have 8 spots empty in my storage.
