Vengful Was...

I read the "Ping Your Build" post and saw the people getting kicked for having "ineffective" builds. While running a W/Mo with skills in smiting, healing, strength, tactics and sword deserves a boot, having a known build with one or two skills that fits your play styles does not deserve that same boot.

This leads me to this question...

Have you gotten kicked from a team for not running an exact build and instead of pouting or looking for another team, taken revenge?

If you have, share your story.
No names just the circumstances, what you did and why.

Here is my story...

About a week or so ago, I was on my Ele and started a group for a DoA quest.
The warrior kicked me because I wouldn't add extinguish to my build.
I tried to explain that all three eles did not need extinguish, in fact one should be plenty.
He just called me some choice names and put me on ignore.

So, I know they needed an HB...I log onto my monk and Ping the HB build.
Right when they are ready to go in, I ping again and tell them I am ready.
As they go through the list of who's ready and verify builds, I change to my 55 build...complete with armor.
We get through the first couple of groups without the need for healing and then we get a leak and alas, no healing. With everyone dead and me still running, they ask for a rez.
Well, I tell them I don't have rez ping my 55 build and start laughing.
I got called a few choice names but I didn't care. I had my fun.

its their right to decide wether you can come or not,and the monk thing? verry childish.

I'll make sure I don't play with a character called "Gene Terrodon".

I personally abhor when a PvE team specifically mandates what is/is not on a person's bar. Personally, I don't think I've ever "pinged my build" to anyone else when they've asked.

That being said, it wasn't right of you to do what you did strictly out of revenge.

As the saying goes...2 wrongs don't make a right. But yes, three lefts do make a right.

Screw those elitist boys. I would've done the same if I had the chance.

Low level people deserve low level actions.

On the odd occaision that happens to me, I grab hench and heroes and usually manage to complete the mission faster then the PuG I could have joined. I sometimes hang about in the town you get dumped in and 9/10 times I beat them, and sai "hi, took you a while..." to make my point.

I think thats the best way.
