Troll cave HM

I was a little bored, and me and my friend tried to farm the trolls.


We founded a solo build:

Energizing Wind
Quickening Zephyr
Serpent's Quickness
Arcane Echo
Echo
Dust Trap
Barbed Trap
Whirling Defense

expertise: 12
wilderniss survival 12+3

Avoid the avicare's and trap the entrance of the cave. Then lure them
in a ball to youre traps.

Note:
If you want to kill the bosses you need a second trapper.

Are the drops any good?

I just solo them with a SV Necro and a lot of smarts (as I beleive that killing one at a time results in better drops). Drops, in my experience, aren't that great though.

Anyone else tried the trolls or minos at Elona on HM? Are the drops worth it? Also, with the trolls, will the basic MF with MS work decently? Thanks.

i have tried elona reach, mountain trolls and desert griffons (in the scar) on Hard Mode as a 55 Spoil Victor necro. and yes, the drops are worth it. dyes, lockpicks, and golds galore. SoA+Shielding hands + Spoil Victor > Hard Mode.

I think if you got enough traps and are experienced with it, you can kill almost everything, just lure them through youre traps.
