Questions Buying on Guild Wars Official Store

Since ANet has introduced Guild Wars Bonus Mission Pack Promotion (http://www.guildwars.com/press/missionpack/default.php).
I can remember at the introduction of the online store that some people were experiencing problems. It was discussed here, sorry I cannot find the thread.

But can someone clarify this for me?
Is it true you have to make an account for the store. This is not the same as your loginname in guild wars. Is it (still) the case that you cannot change your loginname once you have linked this to your Guild wars Official Store or PLAYNC account?

Does this mean you cannnot change your Guildwars loginname (but only your password)?

Yes that is correct, although ANet and NCSoft are looking at that...


however, if you make an account through the ingame store, you are making an account at www.plaync.com and if you already have on there, for say, City of Heroes or Lineage for instance, you can just use that account

I was afraid it was not fixed yet (dunno if they ever intend to fix it). "My problem" is the fact that I cannot change the loginname after I link the account. Reasons for thiese are:
- I like changing the loginname (for safety reasons) and password. Although I think changing password is sufficient.
- Email address = loginname, it changes often. At least in my experience they have been quite a few changes in my email address.

Aye, well my log in email address is 5 years old and has been changed 7 times since then, so its more secure than my password
