Loss of Data ?

Ignore the top part.

I'm Rip, the red is the person in question. Never in my two thousand whatever hours of gameplay have I lost something I had earned. Is it possible for that to happen?

I believe the only way you could lose "data" or points toward a title(in this matter) is if Anet did a roll back on the servers.

Its happend twice before already. The character gets Error 7 and loses points on their lucky/unlucky title. They gain whatever they had in money and tickets before they started AFKing for the title. So a character rollback.

EDIT: But now i notice your in Matu Keep and the player states he was rolled back on things he had gained the last 2 hours. Usually this only occured in Shing Jea when the boardwalk was opened.

When did it supposedly happen? A few days ago, I did some quests on a new char and then logged off. When I logged in the next day, the quests were not done...one had some progress and the other had none I'm not sure what happened, but I would have bet money that they were done. All I should have needed to do is pick up my reward...

I asked around and no one that I talked to had a similar problem so I figured that I must have done something (like thinking that I had finished them when I had really not...

It happened today, the guy was, you were right, Maatu Keep. I think he might have been faction farming with priests or something.

sometimes guildwars finds a glitch and does aroll back like a year ago a glitch appeared where sup vigors sold for like 1k or something rediculiously low and gw did a 2 hour rollback and any deals, any game progress was lost to fix the glitch.

It can happen. Happened last time the boardwalk was open, in fact. One of their servers wasn't saving the data, so when the err7 finally showed up, the title was rolled back to the last point when data was actually saved. Only happened in certain districts, so it's not surprising you didn't hear about it.

I lose my NF end game data on every charicter every time we have an update. I have gotten all 8 of my charicters all the way thru NF only to have an update and find myself back at the beginning of the torment area. After taking them all thru to the end 3 times, i gave up. The only good thing was that after finishing it all 3 times on all 8 charicters, i had a lot of the Book Of Secrets to sell. Made a pritty penny off those. But, by the time i finally get all 8 charicters thru again, we have a new update and I find myself back to the beginning of the torment. It sucks let me tell you. Wish I had gotten Razah on them all as I finished with Abbadon the first time. still need him on 3, probibly never bother.
