Loot scaling and tokens

Does loot scale matter on tokens? I tried 2 runs of each mino's out of ice tooth, trolls at drocks, and fastfoot out of rhilon refuge. Only 1 token every other run. Are any of you finding any better spots to farm them?

edit : I did 1 run of each in HM and one in normal

Yeah, I think it does, but I also think it can drop with gold coins/other crap too..

Holiday items are excempt from loot-scaling. It's already been said.. according to the almighties.

Just go out and kill all the mantid, as every critter has same chance of dropping them more critters = more tokens

I'm not so sure they are exempt even though I think they should be. I ended up with 6 extra after running 11 chars through the easy quests. So I figured I'd just farm for 4 more. I did 4 vermin runs and never saw a single token. I also tried the mantids outside raisu a few times and never saw one. This is far worse than any other event item I've farmed.

The 6 extra ones I have dropped mostly from the lesser grasps but a few came from the nagas but that was with full party during quests.

Is anyone having any luck farming these?

They drop everywhere, including pre-searing, so just go somewhere where you can kill the most creatures in the shortest space of time. I like the gargoyles out from Nolani with my ele.
