Monk or Nec?

Which can move through PvE fastest?

After loot scaling and all of the other updates, which can be considered the "superior" farmer? (more beneficial/easier to use)

Basically I have 8 character slots, 7 PvE and 1 PvP (RA, TA, AB, GVG), and I'm debating on deleting my monk or keeping it instead of making a necro (monk is relatively new, only lvl 17 with some max armor, made it to farm undead). I once had a necro but deleted her because I got bored of her, but old habits die hard i guess?

ty for feedback, i'm hoping to not buy another character slot (maybe i will since that mission pack thing is coming out), but for now I would like to stick with 8 slots ^.^

Well monks are needed everywhere while necros aren't - not everywhere. Buy another slot and make one :P

Farming or playing/ending the game as fast as possible?

If it's playing, they both can finish the game in about the same time.

for farming wud say necro is more effective.and faster.

both can fit both roles.
both are very popular and much needed in PvE and both make great farmers. infact they use similar builds.
monk is more versatile as it can go Mo/N SS/SV farmer although it will be a bit weaker than the N/Mo variant but it can also go SoJ, 600 hp+smiter etc while the Necro just has SS/SV N/Mo and SS+55 monk duo runs
also both are required in the 5 man runs such as sorrow's furnace

P.S u can take all your pve chars into pvp
