I was planning to do this mission with H/H in normal mode, so i'd like to request some hero builds i can use in the mission so i don't get frustrated by the mission itself, like my past 8 times.

So, i want some good hero builds for Hell's Precipice, i'm an Ele myself, and have almost all skills unlocked for nearly all characters.

Thankieys in advance and such XP

Since you are Ele, I would bring:
one hero monk with condition remover, ZB-prot for example.
One interrupt hero ranger with winter and perhaps greater conflagration. Use elemental bow when you don't have greater conf.
Perhaps a second ele, earth or air for knockdown.
Or SS necro, they are also good in most parts of the mission.
Load 2 hench monks and 2 hench warriors.

What you want is to make sure the titan's can't use their healing sig.
And the sparks to hurt that much.
Winter and interrupts are a way to make sure things go smooth.

So, RC monk (they suck at ZB)
Acolyte Jin with Magebane shot and perhaps winter.
Air+ Water Ele (Rust)
or a SS necro.

Okay, anyone else got tips? I'll try this tonight.

Water will do double damage here against the Sparks, Burning and Risen titans and it will slow up the Hands making them less of a threat. So either stock up on Water Magic or a ranger hero to take winter with you. Heroe wise i would take a Broad Head Ranger for dealing with Sparks, Bosses and Risen Titans give it Winter too to help increase the damage on foes. Id also use a a Ss Necromancer and domination mesmer with some anti caster and anti melee skills. Then For Henchies Add, Dunkoro, Lina, Eve and any remaining one of ur choice. The only real problem on this mission is the Sparks, always target them 1st! and make sure u take them down Fast! else they can create real problems. Hope that helps

BHA is a little overkill. Risens aren't even a threat. Sparks aren't that deadly. Rodgorts is only a threat if you let things ball up and Mind Burn can be absorbed with Prot Spirit from the first 1 to run in before you quickly kill them.

Why would you bother wasting a hero slot to get rid of conditions? The only real condition there is burning and it gets reapplied every second or so.

I think, if you want to make the mission extremely easy, you have 2 good options: 1. have you and all your heroes go me/x or x/me and take mantra of flame (even the Hand/Fist hit for fire damage). 2. have you and all your heres fo e/x or x/e and bring Frigid armor (the + armor is wasted, but you can't be set on fire).

Here is my hero/hench setup that makes it very easy

You E/Me
Sousuke E/Me
Zhed E/Me
Norgu Me/E
Lina
Mehnlo
Aidan
Eve
(No tank so that you can keep KDing with Trident as they slowly run toward you.)

Everyone set up as a Water Trident Spammer

Attributes
Water Max
Inspiration High
E-Storage/Fast Casting High

Skills
Water Trident
Freezing Gust
Frigid Armor
Water Attunement
Mantra of Flame
Res
(2 optional slots for more dmg, cover enchant, interrupt)

You then get something like 40+% damage reduction from MoF and +2 energy everytime you get hit. You also never get set on fire, and do good damage to everything with the water magic.

THE CANUCK MONKS (TCM)

W/R

Small general tip:

Kill in order:

Titan Sparks (glass cannons - easy to kill, but the most harmful)
Burning Titans (constant burning is not good)
Ashen Hulks (stupid necros)
Fist Of The Titan/Hand of the Titan (honestly, I don't care which one you go for, but whatever the Axe is, Eviscerate is probably the most damaging)

Never fight Ashen Hulks if you have Hands and Fists in battle. Ashen Hulks become Hand & Fists, so fighting other monsters can quickly lead into mass panic for your group.

Concentrate on 1 monster.

Rust is pointless. You can get away with a mesmer with Ignorance.

If you truly fear burning, Extinguish is nice to have as well.

I hate to (potentially) cause controversy on my first post here, but, Winter is useless in HP. I've tried & tested the theory mentioned on the GW Wiki (re: Using Winter) and the Titans are (or at least seem) equally immune to ANY kind of elemental damage.

The most potent way to beat this mission that I've found is to use myself (main character is a Monk) to tank whilst spreading AoE Holy damage, along with a DPS Assassin, SS/SV Necro, Earth Ele for knockdown, 'Heal as One' BM Ranger and Dom Mesmer.
Throw in an extra Monk for added healing/protection and the last party slot becomes a moot point.

No need to overcomplicate things - this mission really isn't hard at all. If you fail, the reason isn't party composition, but more likely bad aggro and / or target calling. I did this mission with my warrior + a party of 6 hench (no heroes) pre NF (I only wanted one melee in my team as I didn't want the hench monks to get distracted trying to remove the burning condition, rather than healing - hence only 6 non-melee hench available to me).

Simply take care to only fight one group at a time, luring with a bow if necessary. As others have said, prioritise sparks, then knock down one burning titan down through its constituent parts at a time. At the Armageddon Lords, flag your team at the gate and methodically pull the hands / fists that spawn one at a time and kill them until they're all gone, then pull the patrols, then kill the armageddon lords (if you want the bonus), and finally destroy each portal one by one. When you get to the boss that I shouldn't name because it's a spoiler, you CAN pull the two groups of hands / fists separately back to your flagged team with a longbow / flat bow and kill them. If you accidentally aggro the sparks, then prioritise them. The last bit after the cutscene is an absolute walk in the park, just be sure to kill any hands / fists that wander into your fight so you don't get overwhelmed.

As ele you could go ele / mes and bring blinding flash + epidemic to shut down the melee in this mission, which will make it even easier than it already is.

Good luck.

Strong Foreign Policy [sFp]

I was having a bit of trouble with this mish, going 2 SF ele and 1 MM. I breezed through it last night with this.

Me - LoD monk
Olias - SS/MoP
Zhed - Water: Shatterstone, Vapor Blade, Maelstrom (maelstrom is a musthave), Shardstorm, Ice Spike
Sousuke - Same thing
Prot Henchman
Eve - nec henchy for blood ritual
Cynn
Reyna

SS is great for the hands
With water spiking, you can simply watch the titans just melt. The only problem spot was near the Armageddon Lords, near the first portal, where I was stupid, and managed to aggro 3 bosses and 4+ burning titans :S
With proper aggro and water eles, the titans are pushovers.

I'll have to try that one. Normally I wipe out two of the portals then go for the Armageddon Lords.

As much as I agree with bifter that this mission is a walk in the park, I still don't see the need for a Water Ele, as Earth or Fire have greater knockdown variety.
I do agree though that only 1 melee is needed for this mission, though on any non-Monk character I make, I simply give Dunk or Talk a sword and set them to 'fight' mode. Hmm, not sure how to compensate for that with hench only as I kinda got the campaigns in reverse order (NF first) and have played my way backwards.
