but for your question :

- for each match won you gain fame.once a certain amount of fame aquired you gain titles and special emotes.

- if you win the final stage in heroes ascent, you open a chest which may contain either a very rare and very xpensive item..eiter a crap one good to merch.

you earn fame towards your rank and you get to open a HoH chest which could have a super rare in it or some random other drop.

*Wins in Heroes Ascent acrue fame. Certain amounts of fame equals ranks. Certain ranks allow emotes. Winning the final map in Heroes Ascent displays a scroll to all players saying the team leader's name's team or guild has won a battle in the Hall Of Heroes, for whichever country your account is tied to (America, Europe, Korea, Taiwan, Japan).This favor system controls your locations access to UW and FoW. The winners get to open a chest, which will drop rare weapons, flames of balthazar, or if you get really lucky a mini ghostly hero. You continue to play the final map with rotating objectives after you win until you lose that map, in which you enter mission again to restart the proccess.

You win fame( http://gw.gamewikis.org/wiki/Fame ) and factions. And if you win in HoH you get a flame of balthazar or other rare stuff.

Well, my LOL was of such epic proportions that I can't even talk about it here.

But yeah, the question has be answered. Generally not a good source of money.

cough cough, no good source money? cristalline...few millions..cough cough...some inscribable hamemrs and blade..several hundred thousands..cough cough..

sure good drops are rare.but if u win regulary in ha its not that bad

and yes i forgot it and hopefully pointed by others, you also earn balthazar faction points which allow you unlock items/skills in pvp.
