Need a Sword/Dagger/Axe!!
Swanky Franky
Ok so I have been an axe warrior forever, i want to be able to switch from axe to sword/dagger when ever i want. There is one problem i do not have a sword and i do not want to pay alot of money for one. I wanted to know if there are any place i could farm that drop decent daggers/swords/axes for me. I have proph and factions - only to nahpui in factions - and i have a lvl 20 axe W/ (what ever) and an 18 A/ (what ever) a build and a spot would be nice but either or will do. Thanks!

The Swords & Axes in Prophecies are hard to get and not all that good, so don't waste your time on that. (Totem Axes are easy to get though, check for build here, but this is a sort of "specific" weapon and not really recommended for a normal PvE Warrior)
For factions available spots;
Quivering Blade, however the damage mod is terrible, so no real use trying to farm this.. Besides this, you can't farm any other sword yet (that's further in the game)
Wing's Axe Nice axe
Kenshi's Daggers Damage & Suffix mod could be better
Lou's Karambits Sundering isn't that great on daggers
Shreader's Talons Terrible damage mod, not that great prefix mod.
Now to the builds;
A/E Solo Farmer -> Sun, Wing, Shreader
W/E Solo Vermin farmer -> Shreader
E/A Solo Farmer Other Shadow Form variant, also works with A/E though.. -> Lou, Shreader, Wing, Sun
Sorry, I can't really be bothered to give any useful tips on the A/E build, because there are several variants of it, but this should do for now..
Oh and my advice;
Get a little bit further in the game (do Tahnnakai, Arborstone, Boreas & Sunjiang) and you'll have more & better weapons to chose from :P

I just swapped over to sword myself after nearly two years playing an axe warrior. My fave sword is [wiki]Shak-Jarin's Sword[/wiki] - it's Nightfall but you should be able to pick one up in Kaineng.
I use it with an IAS, [wiki]Hundred Blades[/wiki] and [wiki]Sun and Moon Slash[/wiki] for quick adrenaline and energy gain. I've been playing around with a W/Rt with [wiki]Splinter Weapon[/wiki], [wiki]Nightmare Weapon[/wiki] and [wiki]Wailing Weapon[/wiki] and it meshes pretty well. As a PvE warrior i've always found it challenging to to find a build that can contribute much to the team other than tanking, body blocking and managing agro (two SF's and an MM hero usually wipe the floor before i have a chance to unload an attack chain). This fulfils a utility anti-melee/ranged/caster role for me and goes off like a blender. Spinter Weapon also works on ranged attacks, which is useful for contributing damage when packing a wand or bow. If you get ahold of Nightfall (worth it for the heroes alone), drop [wiki]Warmonger's Weapon[/wiki] in for some caster hate.
As stated above, [wiki]Wing's Axe[/wiki] is a solid choice if you decide to stick with axe. [wiki]Sskai's Sword[/wiki] is ok if you're running an adrenaline-based build. It usually winds up on my heroes.

No arguments there - grab one of each and you're covered.

As 15^50 collectors' weapons are concerned, you could get a sword from [wiki]Sakai[/wiki] in Senji's Corner for 5 Celestial Essences (farm the Nahpui mission for them) and an axe from [wiki]Dai Waeng[/wiki] in Zin Ku Coridor for 5 Pulsating Growths (should find more than enough on your way there )
