what is an afk ring? i read something on an old post. very curious

During canthan festivals they usually have the boardwalk games open. Two of the games involves giving up some tickets, standing in one of x rings and if your ring is chosen, you win some tickets. So people working on their lucky and unlucky titles will load up on some tickets, go find one of the rings to stand on for a number of hours and just let the game run and rack up lucky and unlucky points for them.

just a bit of clarification:
AFK= Away from keyboard
The reason why it is called afk rings is that it takes A LONG TIME to get anywhere with the title so people will afk on the rings. Players will leave the game running for hours if not a day or more at a time. So when they come back they hopefully have enough to have reached the next tier for that title.
