Ok, my idea is pretty simple, I also tried looknig for it, but didn't find anything like it, so I gues noone posted this before...
Don't u hate it when u give Arcane Echo to Zhed, and then u see he Arcane Echos Fire Attunement? o.0 Manually click on the skills often won't work because as soon as u clicked on AE, Zhed just tends too use any skill, and if U want him to use another, he will interrupt the first one, result: Energy loss + alot of loss of time...
It's the same for GoLe on Talhkora... Try and explain to her that GoLe is pointless if she uses 2 5-energy spells afterwards...
What I'm suggesting is a skill tree, a simple form... It simply goes like this:
Talhkora, after U use GoLe, U use skills that cost 10+ Energy...
Or more precise can also happen:
... use GoLe, U use Aegis and prot spirit...
Another example:
Zhed: Arcane Echo => Meteor Shower
Basicly, all I want is u can tie skills togheter... It will help in so may locations + it will fix assassin heroes, cuz face it, they are totlally useless unless u usethe most obvious, and thus "weakest" combo's...
Anyone agrees Anet should add this?
Heroe's Skill Tree

there are some things heroes sucks at, but there are some things heroes are masters at (and better than almost any human).
Exploit the best of them, dont try to stick the normal person-builds to them, make special builds for them.
example, dunkoro as healer with power drain and leech signet is wonderful.
i think heroes are good enough already.

^ Might as well remove Zenmai than... "Exploit" heros? I dunno, but I don't think it ever was Anet's intention in the first place to make heros better than human players... They were supposed to be a solution to the empty districs u sometimes find... When U couldn't enter a mission because of to few players, when u couldn't find a team, or when u just prefered to play solo... It NEVER was there intention to REPLACE human players with heroes, they were added to just FILL IN the last party slots... So, imo, they should be capable of doing what a regular player can, skillwise that is...
What if U want to do an area full of "melee" based monsters? Ask dunkoro to power drain "Power Attack"? GoLe + Aegis would be the most logic E-management... It wouldn't make heros stronger btw, it would just make em use more logic combinations...

On one hand, heroes that can chain attacks to up their attack power or save energy costs would be awesome.
On the other, if you're standing there micromanaging your mages, what the hell good are you gonna be in battle? You're on the team to cooperate with them, not sit back and play with NPC skillbars.

Heroes should operate on a gambit system like that of FFXII

GoLe => Aegis
Arcane Echo => Meteor Shower
Plague Touch => NOT for Disease (Ever tried that? A Hero keeps on spamming plague touch, even tough the disease keeps spreading back to him)
I'm just asking to give players themselves a chance to fix the bugs Anet made in the heroes AI, This would stop all the: "Omfg, HAXXOR, U WON THIS HERO BATTLE BECAUSE URE HEROES ACTUALLY USED THEIR SKILLS, HAXORRRRRRR!!!!! REPORTED!!!!" + It would end some frustration on my part

Or maybe you could just stop giving them skill combinations they can't use properly? Its quite funny watching Stone Summit Heretics use Arc-Echo Illusion of Haste...

So you mean like maybe you right-click-drag one skill to another, and there'll be some indicator that the AI will only use skill after using the other one. The AI should also consider the total energy cost of the chain before starting it. Also chains could fork and the AI would choose depending on the situation.

We should be able to program hero behavior in C.

Now we're getting somewhere ^^
Naah, as The guy 2 posts above said, SIMPLE skill trees, which can bind skill in a certain order, and certian stuff which NOT to do...

Skill tree sounds good... otherwise I'm thinking of Hero learning the pattern of how you manually use their skill bar and over-time they'd do what you have been using...
I think it make sense since you decide on what skill your hero uses and there's a reason behind your decision... thus I support the decision on improving the way heros uses the skills
