Fire Attunement, Searing Flames, Glowing Gaze, Liquid Flame, Meteor Shower, Res of some sort, Glyph Of Lesser Energy, Deep Freeze/Mark Of Rodgort/Lightbringers gaze.

In FoW you dont need Lightbringers Gaze, I'll prob take Mark of Rodgort. Unless you are still required to have arcane echo these days as I havent been for a while.

For DoA, the last skill depends upon the other ele's in the group. So say you already have an ele with MoR, you would take deep freeze. Personally I would take deep freeze or MoR over lightbringers.

Glyph of sacrifice is also sometimes taken to DoA, paired with Ressurect Chant. Liquid Flame can also be removed from the builds and swapped for another of the above skills.

as an ele my self, i just want to add that you will not get the bang for you buck as you might think with searing flames if you are the only ele. Due to its high energy cost, it is best if your team has another ele with searing flames as well. if the other ele doenst have Searing flames make sure that ans many enemys are buring before you use it. i very efective way to do this is have you or your other ele (or both) follow this chain: Mark of Rogdort--> any fire AoE skill----> followed quickly by repedded Searing flames (you could also throw some Glowing gazes in between Searing flames so you dont run out of energy)

With the changes in DoA for normal mode Savannah Heat is a good alternative. Before you go off saying that it breaks aggro yes it does to a small degree.

A little history for this. Last night after seeing the update me and a couple people decided to try out different things in DoA. Here is the party make-up: 1 obs flesh tank (no change there), 1 bonder (didn't need life barrier with the change to the damage, also was a hero), 1 healer, 1 domination mesmer (hero), 2 savannah heat eles (both heros), 1 ss (hero), and hybird sb/seed of life/cry of pain build.

We completed Gloom not in a record time but complete it we did. The SH was taking the enemies down quickly. Maybe worth looking into more
