Assassin problem

Hi I'm not sure that this shouldn't be posted in the bugs section but what the hey!

I can't seem to complete the second training quest. You have to meet Panaku and assassinate some guy, but Panaku seems to just stop moving at the bottom of the hill towards the town of aerie.

Anyone else having this problem? Its driving me crazy!!! I bought the game yesterday and I really want to get going but this is holding me back!!

Any and all help would be much appreciated.

just go assassinate the guy if i remember correctly he will turn hostile once you get in range of him.

It has been a very, very long time since I've done that mission. Panku, a human assassin right? You must kill some Tengu, right? He stops, but you must actually do the killing.

Once you kill him, your done.

Yeah I found the target but he doesn't turn hostile and I can't use aggressive skills against him, the log says that Panaku is meant to lead me to the village and he tells me to kill him when the time comes but he stops heading towards the village. I'm gonna post it in the bug section and see if I'm not just being stupid!!!

Its probably a good time to point out that today is only my 3rd day of playing this game so I'm still a serious newbie!

I had a guild member come with me yesterday and he concurred that its a bug so I'll see what happens next.

It's a bug with the Dragon Festival, same thing happened last year.

You need to abandon any Festival quests and then try it again, should work fine.

Yeah found it online yesterday so I'm now an assassin! thanks for the help!
