so, there are six gods, each with a domineering focus and attributes different from the others. I think it would be awesome if there would/could be seperate paths of quests/storyline/items to acquire/armors/skills for each God in GW2 - that would be fun! So, if you had to pick one god to worship and follow - the one you would remain loyal to and pursue their path in GW2 if something like this existed - which would it be?

I would say Grenth. Balthazar is in there no doubt, as I am a warrior/necro, but I would think Grenth would be the main.
A warrior has one purpose at that is to fight. If I'm gonna live, I gotta kill, and that serves Grenth. If I die, that serves Grenth as well. Not to mention his whole hate of deception and looking at the world as it is. Fits quite well.

For me it's Lyssa and Melandru for sure, they remain a bit on the background but they have awesome powers. My main chars are mesmer and ranger, (maybe that has something to do with it).

None of them. When we fought Abaddon, not even one of them lift a finger to help us. When Ascalon burn to the ground, when Orr sink to the buttom of the sea, where were they? What kind of God allow all this to happen?
Granted they gave us magic and some other stuff, but they also leaving us in the mess. I believe in my spear, my sword, my magic and the light that inside all living things in Tyria. No need for middlemen.

My main characters follow Melandru and Grenth, who rule the natural cycle of life and death. They see neither deity as good or evil, rather they embody the natural cosmic forces that oversee the passage of souls through life after life, enforcing cosmic order, balance, and a place for all things.
I have some important fringe characters who follow Lyssa and Dwayna, the goddesses of arts and divine mercy, but there is only one who follows Balthazar with any real heart.

For me, I would have to say Melandru. I mean she is the goddes of earth basically right. You alwasy fighting on some kind of ground so why not have the goddes of earth on your side, have her in your favour and what not, maybe an earth quake here and there to crush some foes. Even though I've got one of every prof(sept Dervish) I love my ranger the best, so Melandru hands down.

Lyssa would certainly be a major in it for me. I wont lie i am vain, and getting opponents to kill themselves for you is much easier than putting effort into it.
Otherwhise, Dhumm. Since his mantle was snatched away from him by Grenth, he's been behind the scenes, patiently pulling the right strings to achieve his goal. And with Abaddon out of the way, it's less competition for the former god of death.

Considering my favorite profession is Elementalist, this is a hard choice for me... but I would have to say Melandru because I like using Earth and that coming down to it, she is all you would need...

I'm going to say Melandru. I tend to associate myself with nature, and I agree with at least some of what she's saying (in the passage near the statues), though it's hard to tell what the exact message is from that little.

I don't know why I like Melandru so much, but the first character I made was a ranger, then an ele and everyone flamed me because I wasn't a nuker and blah blah blah, then earth became a common line to follow. I think I follow melandru on all of my characters already, earth ele, ranger, dervish with pet and sometimes other helpful skills, monk with help from earth, mesmer with pet for fun (sometimes), para with pet. Melandru and her pets are so much fun
