Six Gods - Who is your God and why?
-.-
Lyssa, my Goddess.
Tatum
I think Lyssa or Grenth.
DarkGanni
Balthazar for me!
He represents the line of warriors.
He represents the line of warriors.
Phaedra Firesoul
Melandru all the way.
1 up and 2 down
It would either be Lyssa or Grenth.
jesusrunz
I'd have to say Melandru.
Kynareth Adeus
As a Dervish player, I have all of them to choose from because Dervishes are aligned to any of them.
Probably Melandru, because even though I am mostly drained of energy afterwards, her avatar kicks you in the face. Twice. Even though I still am a reaper's sweeper.

Agriel
Melandru, definitely.
Kris
Dwayna!
But I have to say that, my main char is a monk

eloc_jcg
Balthazar because I'm an Elementalist. 2nd would be Grenth because I'm part water Elementalist also. Fire & Water FTW!
Akran
Is a very difficult question. I like almost all the gods. Except Dwayna and Melandru.
Balthazar, because i love the War.
Grenth, by his aspect (I love reapers) and because i like the role of god of Death.
Lyssa, by her form. I enjoy the illusion and the posibilitites that has.
Kormir... Well, is true. She turned into a God, but we are still heros. Who came from Tyria and Cantha were considerated heros. And in Elona they are much more than that. Kormir can be a god, but, ¿who defeated a god?
Prefered God? Then, Grenth, by his role of Death, not for Evil.

Definitely Lyssa. There's is beauty in everything, and as I'm a musician by trade I know a few things about the arts and professional illusions. She may be a misunderstood and rather chaotic deity, but she's the one I seem to have the greatest affinity for
Eldin
...ABADDON!!! >
...no, not really. I'd say Balthazar or Grenth. Some people stereotype Grenth as evil. HE'S NOT EVIL!

I'll worship ig, all six gods, but i'll be majoritly Lyssa since, Evil gods *looks at males* tear apart the world, The scriptures of Dwayna are too confusing, and Melandru is crazy. Also in teh scriptures of Lyssa, is very wise. I liked that. Go ahead, go back to pre, and read all of their statues.
Ahellio Nanje
It most definitely has to be dwayna (aside from the fact that I'm a monk). Without her presence ressurection in any form would not be possible, and those of us with the execption of those who haven't died once who not have been able to continue on our journey through tyria and beyond. Dwayna gives us the ability to restore life as well as maintain it let us not forget this most awesome of powers she has granted us.
Mjhammerman
Lyssa, why u may ask. More like me than anything. Loves art and all things fancy, but DONT PISS ME OFF BITCH!!!! IM ANGRY!
Vengeful Spirit
Grenth hands down I am a Ritualist most of the time and also enjoy being a necromancer besides grenth sees the world for what it is and is the ultimate unbiased justice and shows power by defeating a god (dhuum) just as we did to abbadon but kormir stole that credit..
-Old 3FL-
"Balthazar, God of war, God of might."
He is my god in Guild wars because he is the patron god of warriors and my main characters are warriors. I love the close quarter combat zone and love using axes and shields.

son of lulu
Lyssa, because i love being my mesmer and thet fact that she might be the smartest god of the group. (I'm looking at you balthazar) *cough* wammo's *cough*

I would most likely go for Abaddon.
In my opinion, all other gods are injust cowards, due to what they did to Abaddon.
Before his fall, when the six gods were still together, all of them decided to grant all mortal creatures the blessing of magic. This was a decision made and agreed upon by all gods. It was then Abaddon´s task to distribute the magic.
What the gods appearantly didn´t foresee was the strong abuse of their newly given magical abilities. Instead of using their magic to do good, war broke out all across the world. It seems the gods made a mistake blessing the mortals with magic. And guess who paid for that mistake? Abaddon.
He was sentenced by the other gods to be chained down and live a life of pain, anguish and torment ´till the end of his days. He was punished for a mistake that ALL gods were responsible for. Abaddon was merely in charge of the distribution; the consequences were not his fault. But the gods made a mistake and needed a scapegoat.
And on top of that, instead of rectifying their error, they simply fled the world, leaving it behind in all its pain and misery.
In my opinion, the 5 ´old gods´ are nowhere near being righteous, just or even intelligent. Furthermore, I think Abaddon´s vengeance is more than justified. How would you feel after being betrayed by what you thought were your fellow gods, and being sentenced to a life of misery and pain? I´d want my revenge aswell...
This is probably why the gods were so hesitant in assisting us in our quest to defeat Abaddon. They were ashamed for what they did to him in the past, and perhaps even felt that Abaddon deserved his return.
And to drive Abaddon´s life of dishonesty even further, he is destroyed, stripped of his power, and replaced by a mortal no less. Abaddon´s story is a tragic one. He is portrayed as an evil god with evil intentions, but he is merely doing what is rightfully his to claim.
I´ll follow Abaddon ´till the end of my days.

i wud have to say balthaza or grenth plainly because they look cool
Moa Bird Cultist
My patron gods would be Melandru, goddess of earth, nature and endurance, and Balthazar, god of war, master of the blade and the embodiment of courage. Probably to do with my being a highly sword specced Elementalist/Warrior. So thanks to Melandru for the 160 armor and thanks to Balthazar for Cripslash ^^
chowmein69
grenth is cool looking so i like him

Jumping Is Uselss
My Gods would be Lyssa and Balthazar. Lyssa, Why you may ask? Simple, both are hot and twins! And Balthazar god of war has a cool beard and has a cool burning statue.
ANTICANCER
Grenth, necro is all i play.
Bowstring Badass
None of them. My god is a flying lasagna space monster mutated by fire and war who has 16 lasagna mastery and a lasagna frying pan of lasagna mastery which does 999-999 dmg.
But if I had to pick your petty god's I would pick Dwayna for the healing. (Avatar of Dwayna vs anti melee necro ftw.)

Sharp.Edges
I'm probably closest to Balthazar, but I'd worship Lyssa.
Hundred Blades
I'd have to say Balthazar, he has probably helped us more than any other god besides Dwayna or Melandru, also seeing as though I spam Balthazars Spirit with my Wammo

Tutis Evito
Well as my primary is a ranger id have to pick the same god as all good rangers...in this case the one that Drizzt worships... Mielikki ... though i could sway towards Melandru
MirandaKali
I'm not so much into the whole "worshiping" thing. I've always felt that if I was going to have faith in something, it should be myself.
Having said that, I'ld say the Tyrian god that I can most associate with would be Lyssa. Having done theater for years whilst having a penchant for stage/street magic and blades, the patron god of Actors and Assassins is certainly my cup of tea..

I think you got your facts wrong about your god buddy. Abaddon gave magic out like candy to small kids without thinking. And that caused the races to get greedy and then wage war against eachother.
So that King Doric dude had to beg the other gods for peace, they gave the bloodstones and this pissed Abaddon off and made him march on them with his margonite army.
He is an unstable entity and can not be allowed such power as of a god.
Rainbird
Well, first I'd like to say that this is a very awesome idea! I always thought that the gods didn't get enough attention in the games. So I think this should definetly be made in GW2!
I'd probably go with Melandru. I like my ranger a hell of alot, and I also like nature. Not so much of the beauty you can find in nature, but how that beauty can decive. Nature is a force not to be reckoning with, i.e. volcanos, earthquakes etc.
Yea, totally Melandru ^^

Dwayna for sure.
I'm not an overly righteous guy, but I'm always looking for the good in everything.

Well, my future main is a monk, but I've always loved Balthazar for his..fancy armour.
Gairoh
I'd follow all of them. But mainly melandru, grenth.
chikorita23
My god will be Grenth "Lord of Death and Ice"
Because I am a faithful Water Elementalist.
According from the game guide, Necro, Water Elementalist, Assassin and Communing Spirit Ritualist are the follower of Grenth! *Grenth have the most follower*

Dwayna first - light, air, healing, lightning and warmth - all good stuff to have on your side.
Lyssa would be coming up second though for the ability to mess with people's heads, and Kormir's portfolio of knowledge is interesting, but she still has to prove herself.
On Abaddon - Abaddon wasn't exiled because of what mortals did with magic, it was because he essentially declared war on the other gods for their dilution of the power of magic. Mortals abusing magic may have been part of the leadup, but it was ultimately his own actions that led to his imprisonment in Torment.

I would have to say either Balthazar or Grenth, seeing as my main character is W/N
SotiCoto
My main is A/Me ....
I'm sure you can figure it out.
The coin with two heads and no tails.

Dwayna. But if Abby was still a god, him.
