I wouldn't say "worship" but out of utter and complete respect for Melandru.
Enjoying the beauty of everything as it is and then some try and destroy it, Melandru puts a stop to that and shows them what they are doing is only hurting themselves. You can't hurt the other without hurting yourself.

If I were in the Guild Wars world I would probably devote myself to Melandru. It's a war torn world, somebody needs to actively seek its restoration.
Of course, the pantheon of gods in the Guild Wars world actually help their followers with divine interventions on a semi-regular basis compared to actual religions, so any good little denizen of the Guild Wars world would seek to appease the entire pantheon regardless of where they allocate their personal devotion.

I'd say Grenth is my deity. Even though warrior and sin are my favored professions--suggesting Balthazar or Lyssa--, I have a liking for the idea of being a reaper serving my god by sending the souls his way for judgement. Did they live their life well? Were they horrible, and is karma about to kick them up-side-the-face?

She doesnt get head over wheels with her power. Yes, she's an old god, but shes also earth and her sense of humility is worth being admired as much as her kindness and beauty.

Ps, Balthazar isnt a wammo, a wammo is a Warrior/MONK with mending/Healing Breeze. Balthazar is a god, a warrior, he doesnt need monk skills to fight his opponents, he will fight and destoy them all.

3/6 of my characters are Warriors, and Bal's Avatar is the only Dervish elite my D/Mo has capped at the moment. Plus I've always been fascinated by deities of war in mythology. Wonder if the warrior spirit is more brutality, or poetic passion.
Next in line is Dwayna, due to my Ele being an Aeromancer, and almost all of my /Mo's using Smiting Prayers.
