During the Classical age, scholars compiled a list of the seven most impressive works of mankind of wich they were aware. These wonders inspired awe and, well, wonder in all those who saw them. So my question is, which spots in the game have most impressed you? Which areas when you first saw them made your jaw drop?

This is my list:

Tyria
* The Great Northern Wall
* The Temple to Grenth in Lonar's Pass
* The Falls (both the waterfalls and the Temple to Balthazar)

Cantha
*The Raisu Palace

Elona
*The Hidden City of Abashadhim (or however you spell it )
* The Garden of Sebohrin
* The Mirror of Lyss

Ascalon: Great Northern Wall
Kryta: Wizard's Tower at Kessex's Peak

Crystal Desert: Augury Rock
Shiverspeak: Statue of Lyssa in Mineral Spring (Ice Imp Cave)

Istan: Monuments of Nahlah and Dahlah
Kourna: Gandara
Vabbi: Sebelkeh Basilica at Mirror of Lyss
Desolation: Dynastic Tombs
Domain of Anguish: Stygian Veil

We could do something like what happened at Lisbon last saturday, the election of the new wonders of the world. We would gather votes from people in all gw, and announce the winners at a great gala, just like what happened at the Mursaat Rally. That would be so cool. We could get Gaile to send her fireworks, choose famous people from the world of gw to present the wonders... This could be amazing. What do you think?

Sorrow's Furnace
Resplendent Makuun <- huge palace somewhat like Taj Mahal
Augury Rock
The statues we can see in the Crystal Desert... in the Arid Sea zone... Rhode's Colossus anyone (these count as one or two? don't know)
The Wizard's Tower
The big palace in an island along the coast outside of Divinity Coast...
Hidden City of Ahdashim... specially the left chamber with the dervish boss...
Mouth of Torment

8... and im sure Factions has some too but i didn't pay much attention to its surroundings...

I know, and I thought about using Tyria in the in the thread title, but its amazing how much confusion can be generated when a continent and a planet share a name.

1 - That one castle thing-a-majig near kessex peak...Yeah, couldn't tell you if that is spelled right.
2 - The garden of ...Seber..hin..Meh, I can't spell that one either off the top of my head.
3 - Augury Rock
4 - That colossal statue in the southern crystal desert (A pity it collapses if you approach)
5 - That one cool...temple looking thing in Lornar's.
6 - The Hall of Heroes (Does this count, it's not really in the actual world.)
7 - The Great Northern Wall

Can I make a list of "The Seven Wonders of One Continent"? Ok, thanks.

Tyria:
-The Great Northern Wall
-Wizard's Tower (Kessesx Peak one, not Wizard's Folly one)
-Temple of Balthazar
-Temple of Grenth
-Tomb of the Primeval Kings
-Female Warrior Statue in the Arid Sea
-Door of Komalie

Cantha:
-Raisu Palace
-Nahpui Quarter
-Tahnnakai Temple
-Arborstone (despite the mission being so evil)
That's it. In all honesty, Cantha doesn't have that many special places.

Elona:
-Fahranur, the First City
-Gandara, the Moon Fortress
-Fortress of Jahai (or the parts we can see)
-Garden of Seborrhin
-Sebelkeh Basilica
-The Hidden City of Ahdashim!!!
-Dynastic Tombs

Drazach Thicket

Temple of Zhen Xianren [Sifu]

#1. The Statue in the Arid Sea
#2. The Tomb of Primeval Kings
#3. Abaddon's Mouth
#4. Cathedral Zu Heltzer
#5. The Harvest Temple
#6. The ruins of Fahranur, the first city
#7. The Bone Palace of Palawa Joko

Many of these were arbitrarily selected as much as anything, but distinctly chosen for having been deliberately fashioned... rather than natural structures.... and also quite old and important.

Other noteworthy mentions:

The Mural of Balthazar in Pockmark Flats
The Great Northern Wall
The Temple of Tolerance
The Floating Tower of Kessex Peak
Majesty's Rest
Droknar's Forge
Sorrow's Furnace

Raisu Palace
Tahnnakai Temple
The Great Tree of Ferndale
The Ruins in Drazach Thicket
The Eternal Grove

Gandara, The Moon Fortress
The Hidden City of Ahdashim
The Remains of Sahlahja

I think that about covers it.
There are other pretty places.... but I wouldn't reckon them valid for this.

That ancient floating castle, when you defeat vereta its their, chained to the land. Anyone have any idea how that got there?
Maybe Dwayana lived their, or a sentient race of winged humans, maybe thats were dwayana came from...slighty off topic there.
