Give him a day or two, he'll reinstall the game and play it again. They always do and btw Driver:Parallel Lines is a rubbish game.

Synch joining must be a major issue and so frustrating, I can imagine no greater problem in RA, even in Guild Wars as a whole, this practice must be abolished and any participants in it must recieve an account ban that is permanent.
