Doesn't tell me enough to really get me interested in it more than I already am, but good find.

we can actually turn into golems and a "colourful creature".
seems like gwen is gonna be full of morphing, which is nice.

Gotta love Anet when they start rehashing information.
We most likely won't hear anything more until PAX.

Wait did they say they are still working on key NPC’s we meet? Practically less then 2 months away and they are doing this stuff? I thought all they would be doing is clearing out any bugs, after all this time. I don’t know but it sounds a bit shaky.

Well, no game is ever perfect at release, and they have to fix it as it plays out in the following months, but I hope it's not TOO BUGGY.

"Mini-games are found in the homeland of each of the new races we will see in Eye of the North. Participating in them raises your factions with the race to unlock additional content (such as the quests to obtain PvE skills, I would surmise)."
For the love of the gods, please tell me this isn't gunna be like griding faction or sunspear ranks to progress in the story >.<

Elijah conferred a little on the names of all the monuments and as I noted, they are: Valor, which showcases the weapons you've attained through your career, resilience, which is your armor, persistence (I may be wrong on this one), your heroes and pets, honor, your titles and Devotion, the mini-pets and collectibles that you attained.
I thought they said in previous interviews that Hall Of Monuments was 100% retroactive. However, now they say it recognizes all the mini-pets, armors, weapons and collectibles you've collected. But what if you you've already had a large variety of those things, yet sold or salvaged those things? It's not like the game will have recorded any of that, so there is no way that will be retroactive.
WTB year 2 mini-pet that I've already had previously for 100K+50 ectos.

If that pic of the person attacking the spider was a mesmer holding a rapier...I'm willing to say thats Gwen.

It may work like the hat collector, where you show the mini pet, weapons or armour guy the object and he notes it down that you have collected it. For weapons and armor they would need to be customised maybe so as to ensure people did'nt just borrow someone else's crys sword show it to them and lend it back.

I was under the impression they meant retroactove as in after the release of GW2 you can still go back to GW1 and upgrade the hall, then when you log back into GW2 it will be updated as if it had always been there as is the nature of time.
WinterSnowblind
So it seems weapons and armour can be carried over into GW2? Why else would they be recorded.

WTB year 2 mini-pet that I've already had previously for 100K+50 ectos. I don't think that's what they meant by retroactive, like you said, there's no other way this could work. But if it means we can carry over things like armour and pets, then I'll be very happy, even if it means re-acquiring a few things I don't have anymore.

Yeah, it sounds pretty cool. Only time will tell if it ends up as nicely as it sounds.

Doesn't sound interesting to me...

No no, that's the Hall of Communism.
We are actually trying to show achievements.

Everyone loves it right? /sarcasm
Oh, well, at least I'll know in advance how important faction is so I won't waste it on amber and jade, for example....

Probably not. Most likely, the weapons you collect on the Hall of Monuments will unlock new GW2 weapons for your character.
