Good times in Guild Wars

Hey every1, after posting a help-thread i eventually did make an assassin, (he's lvl 20 and somewhere in tahnakai), and i've become attached to assassins. And yesterday something completely amazing had happened:
Me and a friend were doing the quest 'to tahnakai temple', he was an ele-beginner and i decided to let him cap mind burn. So we went to the 'Afllicted Kam' and tried to kill him, we killed the whole grp, (like 10 additional afflicted creatures popped out of the ground ), my entire party was dead and had 60% DP except me, and Kam was at about 50% health. With Tahlkora's last strength she was able to cast a vigorous spirit on me, so i began bashing into the boss, (he was lvl 28) , and with the help of vig spirit and a thousand death blossom combo's we simultaneously died. I shouldve made a screenie because it was incredible, ( at least that's what i think).

So post your precous moments, and try to tell them in a kind of stoic way if u know what i mean

Would have been better if you lived with 1hp ^^(Had that numerous saves where i was down to 1hp but still lived =D).
Any how my most memorable guild wars moment was in HA. It was 6 vs 6 and we were doing vimway. Sue me for playing flavor of the month, because I only was in it for the rank. And seeing my Guild doesn't play ha, flavor of the month pugging only gets me rank.
We were in a stand of because they played vimway too :/. After a few mistakes on our side we were down to only me being a life. I ran around the map to get my health up. Then rezzed a team member which chain ressed in our whole group being alive again. Then we kicked their ass and had a good laugh about it. Next map we got pwned, but that din't stop the glory of the first match ^^.

Nothing beats stomping a trash talker in AB.

The first Halloween event, was a great time. No other holiday event has came close.

I tried to 3 man Consulate Docks with my war, and two hero monks. Pretty srubby builds that id been using for a whole party (LoD and stuff). When we got to the ele boss, he wiped my party apart from me, as well as me wiping all his party apart from him. Using the wall and healing signet, i swept round the corner to unleash my fury on his Fireballs recharge, and heal sigged away the wands and Meteors he was using. Eventually he was so close to death with me close as well, that I hit him for the last hit and he got off a fireball before his death. I kiled him for a morale boost, then he killed me split seconds later. My whole party should have been dead, yet my Dunkoro came back to life when the boss died. He cant have been ressed by me because I didnt res him!, and no1 else did either because there was no1 else. So I had him alive even though he was dead. Strange stuff, but I went on to finish the Masters Mission with just us three, and was quite pleased as well as surprised.

I beat Eternal Grove first go with 4 heroes, 2 henchmen and a friend. We got Masters for it too. What made it even better, is that I went on Guru to read all the QQ posts about it being too hard

I was going for Legendary Survivor on my Ranger, Wammo Hunter. I grew up in Istan and found the quest where you need to chase some children through Zehlon Reach. I was about 50,000XP off Indomitable survivor and thought I could run after the little git instead of fighting things.

I got away from the plants and the degen stopped at 10 health. Damn that was a baaaad idea...but I caught up with the little git in the end, I really wish I could have slapped him about a bit for all the trouble he caused. I did get my title in the end...I learnt my lesson.

Mmmmm my first guild near Guild War's release. I will never have so much fun again...

Doing Ring of Fire way back when, first one person dropped (monk) and then 3 others dropped because one of our monks did. This happened just before we went into the fort but we decided to give it a try anyway. It took forever, but we did manage to make it through. We barely had enough firepower to take down one of the bosses, but we just kept at it and eventually wore it down.

definetly Caromi Tengu farming outside Riverside Province in the Twin Serpent Lakes. Those were the greatest times during my Guild Wars career. Making so much money off of unid. runes

The "Altheas Ashes" quest when GW 1st came out, for me, it was HAAAARRRDDDD but i still did it... then they made it and the Charr ridiculously easy.

probably the first time i threw together and w/e earth tanking build and it took all 12 people in the AB and 7 minutes to actually kill me in which time everyone else on my side capped everything and we owned them 500-12 (numbers may be a little off this happened quite a few months ago)

also when the first touchers started popping up no one knew how to run the correctly so after being pissed off from the cheapness of them i brought a starburst ele into AB....at which time a guild brought 4 touchers and by chance they got two more. whether i was just lucky or they were just stupid i owned 4 of them from one shot and ganked the last 2 30 seconds later when they were attempting to cap a shrine. in which time half their side had rage quit.


edit: oh and last one....8 man pallyway in halls that worked up to courtyard. got to HoH and a couple of the guys lagged and disconnected. the gods did not favor us but it was still fun as hell lol

We were in the Boreas Seabed mission, we got to Zhu Hanuku (the boss at the end), and fought him. We got him to about 25% health, at which point my entire party was wiped except me. I was able to kill Zhu single-handedly. The party was SHOCKED. Oh yeah... we got masters :-)

Probably the most fun I have had is in AB. I grab a Mes with Clumsines and Ineptitude along with other utility spells.

One particular battle, a 'sin had it out for me. He would go after me any time he saw me. It was amazing to watch him attack through an echo'd Ineptitude, and a couple clumsiness. He died every time he tried to attack me. Two others, wammos both, would attack thier targets through both spells. I was loving watching melee characters kill themselves just because they were not paying attention. Seriously, by the end of the AB, I was quite literally about to fall out of my chair laughing.

However, the continuing good times for me is the ability to play together with my wife. Whe love GW as much as I do, and it is a blast to play side by side with her.
