quick question about finishing prophesies
candyman_sb
I just finished proph and wtf?! no green? This must be a joke. Is there a reward for finishing this campaing? It seems strange that altough is the hardest campaing u get nothing.
So please, some1 tell me what's going on.

Green rewards were introduced in Factions, so no green. Why do you need a reward to finish a campaign? You really need a green so you can...go back and do it again? The reward IS finishing the campaign. You also get access to Hard Mode.

Not to mention that a) prophecies isn't exactly all that hard and b) greens were added to the game after prophecies was released
KANE OG
Not to mention all the free skills you received by completing all of the quests.

As pointed out, greens didn't EXIST when prophecies were first created.

You got saved from the exploding Volcano. What more do you want?
Seriously tho, when Prophecies first came out, there was no end-game stuff at all. When they introduced Sorrow's Furnace, they also introduced green weapons. They also created end-game quests that you can get from the avatar (or whatever it's called) of Glint in Droknar's Forge after completing the campaign.

I'm guessing someone didn't play the campaigns in order of their release...
In terms of prophecies, greens are indeed a new concept. (didn't you notice that none of the bosses on the way to the last mission had any greens either?) Sorrow's furnace introduced the green (not factions), like Kook said. Static boss spawns and wider prevalance of greens came out in Factions. Factions also introduced the "end game" green. First gauranteed green in the game. NF carried on the new tradition. Curious to see what new things GW:EN will bring to the table.

Yep, the only boss that drops a Unique Item before the end of the game is Kepkhet Marrowfeast, which drops the oh-so-famous Kepkhet`s Refuge. But then of course, that insect queen was only added after an update to prevent farming in that dessert area...

Oh and not to mention the fact that it doesn't finish there, you still need to go destroy the Titans aswell...
i was stupid enough to try doing those on hard mode the other day.... stoopid, stoopid...

They also added the Totem Axe at the Falls, a mesmer fan, and a bow outside Temple of Ages. There are also some greens at the Tomb of the Primevial Kings, and we already mentioned Sorrow's Furnace and the many drops in there and a few outside Sorrow's Furnace in Grenth's Footprint.

Actually, I wondered the same. I first finished the Prophecies storyline and then the Factions one. I noticed that Factions has the nice ending with fireworks and the credits.
That made me wonder what I missed in Prophecies because I did not see the ending here. The only thing I missed were the final titan quests. After many tries I finally completed all of those, to only learn there is no ending sequence in Prophecies.
