Hi there,
A few months back I was invited to join a guild and had a lot of fun in it. Unfortunately shortly after joining my computer went haywire and I was just recently able to set up a new one and get Guild Wars installed again. The guild I'd joined had a "if you haven't played for X time, you're removed from the guild" rule-- problem was, I didn't have access to my GW information and as a still relatively new member couldn't remember their URL to get in touch with any of the Guild staff to notify them of my then-unknown period of absence.
So my question is simple: now that I'm back in GW, is there some way (either in- our out-of-game) to check my guild history, so I can remember the guild name and hopefully get in touch with them again?
Thanks,
m19
Checking my character's guild history?

Best you can do is post a thread here somewhere and state things about the guild you remember. The guild emblem, some other character names, perhaps some guild jokes and hope for the best. Good luck.

Try and remember some of the IGN's of your former guild and f-list them so that you can PM them when they come online, the worst that can happen is that you make an idiot of yourself, if that doesn't work... google, google and google some more and if that doesn't work there are other search engines out there (believe it or not).

By a random chance, I actually recognized the guild's cape while running around town last night and the tag rang a bell. So, problem solved– and by total chance.
