I've been playing Guild Wars for a more than a year now, off and on. I have all Campaigns and have been in a couple different non important Guilds.
I am in the Army, so it is hard for me to find the time to sit down and play through a campaign. So I would join Guilds; thinking I would meet people that would help me through the missions and play the game.
I found myself at mission spots, wearing a cape, lfg-ing.
Which is crap. Which is not what a Guild is about.
So I made my own Guild. I am in the reserves now, have a little more free time, I figured it was time to do things the right way.
As of right now, all I have is name and cape. No hall, no alliance.
If you are a vet or experienced, drop me a msg ingame and let me know what you think. I, for one, don't get a load of pleasure from joining a Guild with 76 members and a fully loaded hall. You've done nothing for yourself that way.
If you are a noob, congrats on finding these forums. I would be more than happy to help you out in any way I can.
Bottom line: Growing Guild. Know the people you play with. Play the game, not the popularity contest.
It's like Cheers...only a Guild.
