Well i've recently got back into my ranger. I've been doing alot of trapping in uw and ive tried the fow builds but im really getting bored of these.

Please can someone give me some good places and builds to use please. I know about splinter barrage but i honestly dont know where i can use it...im on ring of fire on proph, on nightfall im on 2nd island but im currently doing missions to get further and im not very far on factions.

Please can it be a place which makes relativly good money, at the moment farming i make like 1-3k an hour lol it sucks.

i've also had some looks on pvxbuilds at ranger but couldnt find anything that looked worthwhile

some of the builds from the rangerbeacon are outdated. Stoneflesh farming is still usable, touching, and vig spirit farming (hardly any melee groups out there, and I don't like using throw dirt to tank Xp). Only use for ranger is: pvp fun, touching stone elementals outisde of ascalon for fun.

Splinter Barrage the margs in that one quest, I have yet to advance my ranger to acquire this quest and farm. I hear it's still nice

DoA- Stygian Veil: splinter barrage... (wowee fast)
you can flag farm (kill all but and flag away) basically any melee/physical boss in existence with oath shot and spirits or toucher.
folks still do famine/105 duos in HM for titan gems too I bet.

FOW Forrest can still be farmed by a Ranger.... not sure of the build cause I dont have a ranger... but its on pvx

Rangers have a GREAT many different farms they can do. You could try Margonite Farming, or Dead Sword farming, as a R/Rt Splinter Barrage.

You could try solo trapping the UW, Stygian Veil.

You could do solo FoW Forest Farms as a R/Me, or solo FoW Beach/Cave farms as a R/E (the build is on the Rangers Beacon Forums).

Failing those, get into a group as a splinter barrager, or try Barrage/Pet in The Tomb of Primeval Kings, or as was mentioned, play Famine for Famine/105 Monk farms.

This is only the tip of the iceberg...the Rangers Beacon site has alot more.

thanks everyone, by any chance is there a way to be able to use the wurms by skipping lot of missions, atm im abouts to rescue kormir, i have gates of desolation (i ran there before) and soon i will be able to go into vabbi. Please tell me if i cans kipp all the missions/ alot of them to get to use the wurms faster. Thanks

you can skip alot of stuff to get to kodash, but u will onyl have the place and cant really go no further,

get a run from sunspear sanctury to gate of desolation
then exit with a guildie or friend into the wastes, you will find you cant use a wurm or your friend wont be able to, the trick is just die , then he can use it, go from wastes to remains, then enter jokos domain die again go to bhasalt grotto, then through vehjin mines to jennars horde, then run to kodash,

i had a guildie do this for me, cuz i didnt wana spend money on armour then replace it again when i got to kodash, hope this helps

i hope anet havent nerfed the dying so your friend can get a wurm

You said you wanted to use the wurms for farming right? Well, in order for you to be able to use the wurms is to do the Gate of Desolation mission. In order to do that however, you need to do all the primary quests and missions leading up to that one.

awww ok, well thanks everyone, i posted that question some time ago tho i ran my self to desolation and im curently doing missions just abouts to do the second mission fro magrid the sly thanks anyway
