So how are you gonna GW:EN it?
MSecorsky
It amazes me how many people will whip through a chapter (and now expansion) as fast as they can then proclaim to be done with the game and wanting more content etc., while others (like me) take the slow path and catch all there is to catch, reaching the end well after reaching the end is "in". But, as much as I pity the crowd that races to the end like a pack of rabid greyhounds on crack I'll be the first to admit that if that's how they enjoy the game then so be it.
That being said... how will you GW:EN? Are you the greyhound dog running the race or the greyhound bus stopping at every tourist attraction on the way?
Me... I'm on the bus.
Just curious...

thor hammerbane
I'm going to ride a Ferrari 575M Maranello. I want to get it over with, and see what you get at the end :P
BlueSS
I'm a rusher, I'm done with the chapter useally 1-2 days after the release.
Kinn
If the current trend in lag continues (and it certainly doesn't look like it's being solved), I will probably spend the entirety of GW:EN in the starter outpost, rubberbanding randomly around the place in a futile attempt to walk through the exit portal.
Lonesamurai
I'm ingame storing it...
Then mass guild groups til we finish the game

i want a ticket for the bus tpp, i mean GW:EN is gonna be absolutely gorgous, with all those amazing new graphics, and blah blah, imma take my time, to see all the places thou :P
lucifer_uk
I'll be playing it to fully explore everything. Its not when you get there for me... its how you got there.
Mordakai
I say I'm going to enjoy it, but then end up looking at all the quests on guildwiki before I do them to save time.
Not this time!!! I swear I will actually just play the game, find out stuff for myself, and take some time to enjoy it. After all, with Guild Wars 2 coming, there's really no incentive to be the first to the end.

I will blaze through it with my Necro. If there is a need to bring another char through, I will. Then bring my main char through. If there is a need to bring other chars through, then so be it.

Lol!
I guess I'll do a bit of both.
Speed along the freeway then frequent stops to sniff the flowers once you're out of the country.

Im probably going to be playing through at 'questy' speed with my rit or paragon, then when people start finding all the team builds and leet farming spots ill bring along classes like my warrior, monk, etc. .
Im particularly excited about the 'pokemon on steroids' game. Im hoping this and the other new minigames will add to the Skillz track. Also very excited to see any new arena maps, guild halls etc; cant remember reading about anything on them though. Some new competetive missions ala Fort Aspenwood would be pretty cool.

I'll see you there. I just pray to god they actually have everything working this time. It was really frustrating to get stuck at the wurms in nightfall.
Kool Pajamas
I'll take my time at first, 'till I get bored, then rush through the rest of it.
Qual
A bit slow i think, I am not the type that likes to play PvE for several hours...
Griff Mon
Move through it quickly with my main character and then go back and see what I missed.
Metal Herc
Itl probably take me untill GW2 comes out.
I got Prophecies, Factions and Nightfall a month or so after each came out.
I have just this last week finished the Prophecies and Factions campaigns and still have to do Nightfall. I have around 400 hours played, 300 on my warrior main.
Now I'm sure thats a miniscule amount of time compaired to some, but for me thats alot.

Buy the game, explore every outpost and area as I reach it, cap every skill before I move on to the next area, and make sure i'm masters on every mission before I proceed on.
On the bus, obviously =P

Jaythen Tyradel
Take my time completing quests.
Explore every area.
Get masters on each mission before moving on to the next one.
Get rank 1 at least on any new title that is introduced in GW:EN.

I'll take my main through to the end at first (primary quests and missions), get the heroes and skills, and see what armours are available. Then I'll go back and do all the quests and explore around. Probably go back and get all the masters I didn't know how to do first time through as well.
Midnight08
Same way i did NF. My Main (Nec - Where i started the SV N/Mo Boss Farmer) will explore, farm bosses, and work through the game, while finding out what all the new skills and eventual balancing will do to my builds. I'll make a fortune on new greens. then beat the game and move onto the next character.
Revan Soulbreaker
Im gonna blaze through it with my Main then go back with my other 4 chars on the tourist bus and chill till GW2
Plainsman
Make sure the bus stops down south.
I've only recently finished Nightfall, and Factions last and only when I was bored. Tyria draws me back often.
With a lot of local friends just getting into the game, I will continue to be the local guide.
Need a tour guide for the trip?

I'm gonna check out the first areas of all races, just a lil recon, reach a town and bail. The I'm gonna play through the entire Charr related quests and then Norn, Asura etc :-)
I figures Ill start with my warrior as a melee/close range mindless class is best to enjoy the new critters and landscape. if I monked it Id spend my whole time watching 8 red bars and not the pretty new gfx and critters :-)

haha made me lol
I will do what I always do, I will rush through it! My Warrior will go first, I plan on finishing in 2 or 3 days with him. Right after my Mesmer gets the spotlight finishing within a week and then my necro in about a week as well. If any cool farming builds erupt I might then take a chance to fu...mess around with them eventually getting the rest of my characters through.

Jeff Highwind
Gonna bring my poor ranger out of retirement to go Indiana Jones on the dungeons, and enjoy the new armor and weaponry upon release. Imma see if I can go through it with me, Jin, Margrid and the (Hopefully) Charr ranger hero for some sadistic fun as well.
Sunstar
Well, 2 years until GW2. So definatley going to sit around and enjoy this one. Plan on playing this one thru, very legit like, and with as few Heros as possible... also dont like to Wiki missions and kwests, much like soo many do.
Cant wait to see Gwen the NPC in Action~

I usually go through with my warrior and do every quest on the way, but I might just do the primary quests and I might take a different character through this time. And there is no need to rush through GW:EN with the official GWW because now we get to see the new armor and don't have to wait a month for everyone to post the new armor/weapons. I want to see what the new endgame items are though.

If the questions was "how are you going to get GW:EN" (i timeout trying to get page 1) then the answer is i've got it
That update was 500MB+ so i assume its GWEN just need the code

Plague
Same way I've done it since Factions:
*Create a character, perform all available quests and missions. (Can't do this one this time.)
*Take older characters through only primary missions / quests
*Capture essential elites and skills
*Screw off
*Return weeks later to finish capturing and buying all new skills
*Promise to go back and do all the quests I missed, but ultimately will never have time due to spanning so many PvE characters

I think I'm going to take my time for it, and do most of the quests first instead of rushing through the storyline. Kind of depends on how good the ending will be, if the ending is going to be awesome I'll probably rush the last few bits of the game just to see the cool ending.XD
holababe
I'm gonna do the first bit slow, then as everything gets harder I'll be content with just the missions and a few side-quests.
essence of divinity
well i guess i'll rush through this one aswell(one of the beauties of being a monk is u never have 2 w8 for pugs ), and then start sightseeing once i'm finished with the storyline.
Sophitia Leafblade
Well Im somewhere in the middle, ill take my time exploring, questing, missing, but general go through within a good time, then once im done ill go back and Master missions, explore places i missed etc. So i Take the Train instead of the Bus
Etta
I'll take my time, I always do it that way. No need to rush or play it too hard. Take it slow, I have all night.

That update was 500MB+ so i assume its GWEN just need the code Nope. It's only patches of GW:EN textures etc. The game is still under development so if you magically were able to access this new stuff it'd be nothing but a bunch of textures etc. It's just done this way so come GW:EN we dont all d/l 1gig+ of stuff from ANET servers as we had the ability to stream chunks of it earlier.
