woah...I knew it had to be something other than the update they listed...

I did my normal thing when I see "A new update is available"...I close the client and hit my -image shortcut.

at least 22,000 files to update....have to do it on two computers

Started them at the same time (was using both clients at the time the update hit)

Time for dinner.

Got a 22000 file -image update going.

Its running @ 186kb/sec... peaking out at 216kb. Quite fast for the amount of downloading that will be streaming at this moment.

I cant log on GW after the update too :/

well ive had that happen after I shut down and restart GW for a while now. I just keep double clicking GW and ignoring the 'must close' message when the loading screen appears behind it. Im almost certain I have this because the part of XP that sends these helpful messages conflicts with half the programs I run.

Pressing -Image got me over 22k files.

And I'm only 1% there so far with 10 megs done, this is going to take awhile.

Although its for the better, having all of this a few days before GW:EN would come out...would be much...much worse.

Had no problems running the client yet other than I can't get into the American districts from European :P

I cant login either, it gets to 100% and then stops responding.

My Tyrian exploration track hasn't budged since the update, so I'm guessing it counts as "GWEN land" as far as that goes.

What's changed in the way of graphics. Something's different but I can't put my finger on it.

there's now a use best texture filtering box in options, which could mean the default is now less good than you were getting, or it could be the weird resized limb bug.

111.9 MB so far.. down speed fluctuates too much to get an ETA, anyone finished that give us an estimated total time? Unfortunately, I/m only averaging 20k, with spikes up 125.

Also, why is there no release on the GW page regarding this update?
At least tell "officially" what we're waiting on.
