I love Guild Wars but there has been 2 things that I look for in video games that it doesn't have.
1. Good Boss Battles (with music and everything ^_^)
2. A Map editer.
Now I know that a map editer probably won't work in Guild Wars, but in the recent interview they showed how boss battles would be a bit more innovative with Giant fireballs you have to dodge and music that changes with the situation.
Ya sure they've already done a boss battle like that in SF. But That SF battle and abbadon (which to me was slighty more annoying then fun) are the only true bosses in the game. GW:EN has 18 dungeons and each of them has a "true boss" at the end.
Do you think that we will see good boss battles in GW:EN?

Same here, I want epic boss battles like in other games.
Battles where you are trapped in a big chamber and have to figure out the boss's weakness, not some "boss" that is a funny colored higher level enemy.
It looks like we'll have something more like real bosses in GWEN, I'm looking forward to that.

Uhm, they've had you dodging rather large attacks before (see end battle of Sorrow's Furnace ) so it's not really anything new

Why would you want a map editor in an online multiplayer game? OK, for first person shooters I can understand, new maps are constantly made for just about every currently popular FPS out there. But for GW, it just wouldn't work.

lol go and play house of dead not gw coz point of weakness means 1 race only or 1 skill can take down the boss and that not good

If each dungeon has it's own theme then they have to be each be different which is exactly what I want.
Hmmm maybe I should've said that in my OP.... hold on.

Ummm can you elaborate cause:
1. I don't play house of the dead and all I know is that there's zombies in it and it's an arcade game 2. What do you mean 1 skill 1 race? I don't think you need any skills to dodge giant fireballs and we have to do that with the kind of bosses with have to face anyway (remember Gate of Madness?) scrinner
Beating Kanaxai in the first few days required immense planning but it was so worth the challenge. I haven't tried it afterwards though

I'm sorry, but I don't take anyone who uses the word "coz" seriously. Not to mention all of the other things wrong with your post. Does it really take that much more time to type a proper sentence?
What I meant by "finding their weakness" is similar to the battle with abaddon, where you just don't go smacking away at the boss. There is only a brief period of time where you can attack him. This doesn't involve only being able to use one skill against it. |
