Today while I was at work I read the thread about the graphics problems people were having with some of the Intel cards after the recent update, and then I saw the update on the GW site that fixed that problem.
I have an intel card, so... when I got home tonight, I thought I'd try and see if they'd changed any of the other things that had been a problem for my Intel card.
I've always had to go into Vehtendi Valley and nearby areas through 3D Analyze because of a lighting effect (or something) there that my card couldn't process. I had to stop playing, close the game and re-open it in 3D Analyze when I got to those areas. I went into those areas tonight without 3D Analyze, and I didn't crash. It was such a great feeling.
Thank you thank you thank you ANet.

So nice of you to post this. It's great when little things mean a lot to individual players, and it's an even greater thing when they tell us about it.
Thanks so much!

On the subject of graphics... did fire get an upgrade? I noticed the fire in Fisherman's haven had a roaring sound, and I think the appearance improved too. Now, I haven't actually been to these places in a while, and i could just be imagining it, but it did seem to be kicked up a notch.

I guess i need to thank Anet as well, with the recent updates i see that they still care and i take back my words of anger i use to throw at them.
Thank you Anet for being so kind and working on the problems in the game.Perhaps i am going to buy GW2 after all if the problems will be worked on after this as well.

Yeah did the graphic got update as well? The game seem to run better, my FPS in busy towns like LA, Kamadan & Keinerg is a lot higher than before.
