Was there just a drop nerf?

I went on My A/E solo farmer -.- went over to gates of desolation, threw it on HM with the farming quest which spaned 100 monoliths -.- went out, tunneled over there -.- killed 100 things each trip, for probably 7-8 trips. and got almost nothing.

Preupdate i was farming out there, got a couple of elite tomes from the bosses, tens of tomes, tens of lockpicks, craploads of golds.

and post update. it's almost a waste of time to go out there -.-

wdf is it just me, or did i get the worst luck streak in 8 trips of not getting but around 4 golds total. and 0 tomes. [HM BTW]

also how do you mod check? like someone was saying they already know if the +30 is on there -.-

proberly just bad luck . As for mod checking, hp is easy remove all weapons then equip the weapon to test if your hp geos up +30 bingo, same for +15^50and stuff but that take use of wild blow and some similar weaps(or past experience) to test with.

nah -.- i just did another trip -.- nothing, and last night before update, my invo would be full, and i'd have to end the trip almost early to merch and bank.

and now, after slaughtering the norm + more, its a stretch to reach the beltpouch.

anyone else here with a E/A or A/E can try this?

ANET: A bunch of designers and crew who are too busy doing updates and producing an expansion when they could be scanning the system for BOT IPs and repairing all the damage they've created. Therefore making the game highly profitable and attracting good business on the market... DUH! I work in retail and I know how to sell a Product.

clearly not rookies. they know how to sell the product cos afterall, we've all purchased it, therefore product is sold. aftersales care though is perhaps another thing.

When I started playing GW 2 years ago farming for Obsidian armor took most people months, now almost everyone can obtain enough money by putting in a few days for high end armor.

But hey, you know retail so you KNOW that a product only sells when you can farm a 100K in 2 hours, right?

and BTW - to mod check, go outside and wield the weapon/shield. Some mods are obvious - if you suddenly have +30 more hps after wielding that sword, or if your health degens and you are suddenly hitting monsters for regular damage +3, etc.

I farmed there too, the famous LB/SS farm run. ANd I get similar results, 1 gold in 2 runs and hardly any tomes. Sometimes a lockpick. I guess this is just it.

But altogether I made like 60k by selling white and blue items when getting both titles maxed.
