Well this is an expansion which IS connected to Tyria and it's a first GW expension so we dunno what to expect. Now that I think of maybe they'll merge the titles from Proph and GWEN *hopes not*- there goes my Protecor and Cartographer... this is very confusing, guess the time will tell

that would not make sense seeing as how there is new content in Magumma Jungle and Southwest shiverpeaks as well.

But, if you have your copy of Prophecies, and you dont want to get the GWEN, you should be able to maximize the title from that campaign. Despite GWEN is the comeback to Tyria, it is another expansion, and as it, it should have its own title tracks. But this is IMHO

I would be extremely surprised and annoyed if Anet let GW:EN effect the cartographer title for Tyria.
1) It would be unfair to those who owned GW:EM and it did effect, while those who didnt own GW:EN werent effected.
2) It wouldnt make sense if two people had the same areas, and one was on 100% and another on 50%! If GW:EN was to effect exploration, it would have to effect everyone in tyria regardless of owning the expansion or not.
But that would be unfair on those who didnt have it.
3) They are more likely to either not have an exploration title for the expansion since most of it is dungeons, or they will create a new one.
However if they do create a new exploration title, it would effect legendary cartog. Which would again be unfair on those who didnt have the expansion.
I stand by it being likely we either wont get another exploration title, or it will be named something different for that expansion.
In other words, its very unlikely it will effect Tyrian exploration.

I dont think theyll be any of the Protector/Guardian/Vanquisher/Cartographer for EotN since they are spread over Tryia which already has those titles and because most of the game is under ground, underground maps dont count for Cartographer Titles neither for Vanquisher. The new titles that come with EotN will just be the Asura, Norn, Dwarf etc. faction titles

I expect to have Protector/Guardian/Elite Hunter title because there are missions and there are elite skills, simply, no matter that the game is a whole cavern.
IMHO

I see 2 likly situations...
1. Because this is an expansion and not a new Chapter, we will not have cart/protector/guardian/skill hunter/vanquish titles.
2. GW:EN will have it's own cart/protector/guardian/skill hunter/vanquish that will not effect the Tyrian titles.
I am putting my bets (and hopes) on #2. This will cause some needed changes to the "Legendary" titles. But, if you do some title counting, this will work out great. Capping ALL elite skills will get you 4 Max Skill Hunter titles + Legendary Skill Hunter. That nets you Lvl 1 of KoBD right away. (capping every elite or completing every mission is kind of a big deal the way it is)
Get ALL the Campaign specific titles and you would have 25 max titles. Giving you Lvl 5 of KoBD (once it is implemented).
I think it would work out very nicely.
EDIT: I miscounted. The total would be 24. I counted Legendary Protector as a title, it is not. Still like the #2 posibility though.

In other words, its very unlikely it will effect Tyrian exploration. Totally agree. Adding in more to that title would do nothing but frustrate people.
I am 100% positive there won't be an exploration thing for GW:EN, so....soo positive.
