E/A Solo Edit

Hello,

I was thinking about it. What if you swapped Teinai's Crystals and Crystal Wave for Stoneflesh Aura and Armor of Earth? It makes sense to me that the recharge and low energy cost of Obsidian Flame (Regardless of Exhaustion) means that you could alone deal enough damage with Sliver Armor and Obsidian Flame. In case of Shadow form ending early Armor of earth and Stoneflesh Aura would keep you alive long enough to finish up. What do you guys think? Criticism is welcome. Thanks.

The whole idea of the E/A (or A/E) Shadow Form farmer is to blow up the boss as quickly as possible and not hang around once he's down. As an Ele primary, your Shadow Form is already a bit shorter than you'd like since you can only get 12 Shadow Arts.

And let's not forget that when Shadow Form ends, your hp drops down deathly low, so even if you take the armor skills, a few hits are gonna drop you, armor buffs or no.

Feel free to experiment, but I think you're better off sticking with the damage skills - even just a couple hundred damage will help - and getting out sooner rather than later.

I have been using this build for a while... I find that I switch the build with whatever boss I am fighting. Usually though, I use the default one just because it kills the boss fast enough that I don't need extra defence. Also, with obsidian flame's 5 sec recharge it recharges just as you finish casting the other two. It is really up to personal preference though.

Other skills that I swap in sometimes:
-Another running skill for the downtime on Dark Escape such as Dash or Storm Djinn's Haste (works well even with low/no air) if the boss drops easily.
-Intensity (+4-5 damage for each hit of sliver armor, much better than any other damage skill)
-Shadow of Haste, if you plan on killing another boss nearby.

It really is up to you though, the last four slots on the wiki skillbar should really just be marked optional because you can put whatever you want.
