Kurzick Armor need help plz

Im a total nub and yet i am about to buy my frst set of kurzick armour yay!

I know that the helmets all have some sought of bonus on them. I was thinking about buying the str one, but b4 i do i was wondering if the bonous on the helm is the same as a minor str rune. In other words does that mean i cant apply a minor str rune to anywer else on my armour as it already has 1 on the helm?

1 more thing is that i got all the amber chunks but not steel ingots, can sum1 plz tell me the best way to get them/buy/salvage(what to salvage) etc. Because they cost around 280g each from rare material trader

The +1 stats in every headgear is always stackable. Meaning you can add a minor strength rune and still keep the +1 stat the headgear gives.

Try buying steel ingots from other players cheaper. But don't scam them.

Headgear bonus stacks with rune bonus; slapping a Strength rune on a headgear of Strength will combine, so no worries there.

Steel Ingots can sometimes be salvaged with an expert salvage kit, but it's uncommon; you can also make steel with iron and wood, but it's expensive; you need two materials, plus 200 gold. Factoring in costs, the cheapest way to buy steel is from the rare material trader.
