Well,my question is simple.I wanna know if i can use my Debit Card in the Online store or it's only for Credit card?Pre-release pack is getting out tomorrow and don't wanna get the game too late like i did whit factions(took a long time before finding a box in a store)This would save me alot of time.Another thing i wanna know is if some error in the online store still exist.I'm talking about the one when you click on ''pay'' it make an error and you don't get what you paid and you still get charged? And if i use for exemple my friend CC,does it will work?

EDIT:Sorry, posted in wrong section but still can inform people on the Online Store error(s) whit the answers here.

if you have an American debit card that is backed by VISA or Mastercard, then yes you can use it in the store. If you have A Canadian debit card which works entirely differently, then no, you can't use it in the online store.

If it's a debit card it has to be backed by Visa. If you're really concerned about this, log into Guild Wars, click the support link and then send your question into ANET. Then you can get a reply straight from the horses mouth :-)
P.S I use a Visa Debit card, and im an Aussie, and it works fine, no issues in the online store.

Debit cards work only if they are tied to a credit card company like Visa or Mastercard...which allows them to be used as credit cards even though there's no credit behind it.
Traiditional Debit cards which require the entering of a pin do not work.
I use a Debit card that is tied to Mastercard. I do know that my bank offers a lower level debit card which is not tied...those are primarily made for teenagers so they can easily access their bank account but have a few limitations so they can't use it everywhere.

It might be time for Anet to make it's own Card, like WoW and Everquest...
Or have a NCSoft card good for all their games.

What would make the GW Online Store better is if they allowed transactions through paypal.
If they did the world would be a better place due to easy access through a major processing company. I'm sure that Anet has an account with Paypal, c'mon, they're a quite a large presence in the US, if not the world.

I know that online store transactions were not working earlier this morning for me, most likely due to the maintenance that was going on. So it might be that as well.
EDIT: I've tried with my debit card just a minute ago, and it says (every time) that it's suspected of being fraudulent -_- Looks like even an (American) Visa does not work O,o. For me at least.

What about using a VISA gift or prepaid card? They work like credit cards, not debit cards and are easy to buy.
