going into GVG

Hi,everyone,
I am puzzled.Will there still be GVG Tournament Matches when the dear GW2 come to release?
CRT or wide LcD screen ,which type is better for GVG players ?
I guess the mouse does not work very well at such high clear pictures.

I imagine the wide-screen lcd would give you a wider field of vision. Turn all graphics settings to minimum except for resolution. Turn it up as high as you can while still running the computer as fast as possible. Make sure guild wars and vent/teamspeak are the ONLY applications that you have running while doing gvg, as anything and everything uses system resources, no matter how small

If the mouse isn't working well at higher resolutions, increase the scroll speed. That should help a lot. Make sure that it is still slow enough for accurate clicking though The exact settings you would want would depend a lot on the profession you are using. If you are a healer/prot, you would not want it to go very fast, since everything you might click in an entire game is within the tiny party bar :P

Not sure about whether they will continue after gw2 is released... I doubt they will be as extensive, it would just be bad business sense to keep supporting something for which they no longer gain revenue :P
