If Guild Wars had a monthly fee...

The game would be better, no morons and idiots etc. But I'll never pay any monthly fee's for a game.

Nope would stop playing the day they would charge fees. Nothing like constantly paying for a game you already spent 50 bucks on. Pay to play ftl.

It's quite obvious, really. No one would play if monthly fees were implemented. So of course no one = no idiots, too. Makes perfect sense!

What's quite obvious is there are people who play games with monthly fees you know (ie:WoW,CoH/CoV,etc)

Monthly fees or no fees, idiots will still be there.

Main reason for me to play GW and not WOW ......is because i enjoy the game. I have an active CoH account and a semi active WoW account but GW is my fav by far. I would definately still play the game and would likely enjoy the additional things theyd be able to do for the game with addtl income, as well as the decrease in overall immaturity of the players. Still, its my favorite mmo either way, making a good build is as fun as making a good deck in MTG, and i love things like that.

I've played many "pay-to-play" games, and yes, they are all filled with morons and idiots (which is subjective, but there are limits most of us agree on). It's the internet - anonymity city. People will pay upwards of $100/month or more in order to express stupidity, be a complete asshat, and of course elitism of all kinds - as long as their anonymity remains.
