He wasn't asking if he could die, he was asking if he'd lose the title if he did die.

The answer is yes. If you die you're not a survivor anymore.

Yes, you don't lose the title if you die. You are no longer a survivor, but you still keep the Title of Legendary Survivor.

You keep the title.

EDIT: IF you have it. The only thing that dying will effect is that the XP counted in the survivor title track will stop increasing. So, if you have level 1 survivor and die, you'll keep the level 1 title, but won't be able to progress any more.

Wiki is your savior

Survivor title track
Tier Title Experience gained without dying Average time (sample size)
1 Survivor 140,600 11 hours (N)
2 Indomitable Survivor 587,500 52 hours (N=1)
3 Legendary Survivor 1,337,500 65 hours (N=7)

[edit] Acquisition
Your character must not die if you wish to progress in this title track. A single death will halt its progress for that character permanently and irrevocably. Type "/deaths" in the in-game chat to run the command that checks the number of deaths your current character has suffered. If the command reports anything other than 0 deaths, this title track is no longer active.

If the character dies after achieving at least tier 1, the title track will still be visible and the title can still be displayed, but it will not progress any further. It will remain at the amount of experience the character had when the first death was accrued.

If actually you read what i have put you will see i answered his question...

"Nope as long as u get the title without dying its yours to keep"

Meaning he has the lvl 3 title(as he states) and if he dies after getting it he will still be legendary survivor or w/e it is.

Read the post and think before trying to be smart! Once at Lv.3 Survivor you can die any amount of times without losing the title.

Get the title, keep the title.
Ask my Legendary Survivor rit with a couple of hundred solo-farming deaths to her name, still proudly displaying her title.
It's amazing the number of times I've almost died in missions and had people go, "OMG you almost lost your title!" though...
I sure wouldn't have spent a hundred odd hours and a hundred odd platinum on skill caps for a title I could lose once I had it o___o

Once you get a title, no matter what you do, it won't be taken away from you. This applies to ALL titles currently in the game.

Maybe not. If you're depending on the Legendary rank of Cartographer/Guardian/Skill Hunter/Vanquisher for the last title within KoaBD, it could (in theory) disappear when GW:EN is released.

Please note I said currently in the game. I don't think ANet will take a previously earned title away from people, as evidenced by the new protector / guardian titles with the addition of hard mode, however, you are correct in that cartography titles could be a sticking point.
