I wonder if we see Mad King's underworld. Imagine that character to made be bigger part in storyline. So little is told from Mad King that it makes sense if Anet got some more use for that guy (for comedic value).

Mad King Thorn is just Palawa Joko in a Halloween costume.

In the end, you will require 3 items to finish the story: A Gwen's Broken Flute, a Preserved Red Iris Flower, and a Tattered Girl's Cape.
Then you put the cape on her, stick the flute pieces in her ears, and shove the flower in her mouth.
Then... you just plant her in the eastern frontier where the great crystal is (you have to remove it first) and the land will start it's recovery.
The king, to avoid seeing the planted Gwen all day, creates a hollow statue of his son and hides Gwen inside it. He also executes anyone mentioning her name.

In GW2, is anyone else seeing Palawa Joko as one of the main enemies? It would be wonderfully ironic if he is the main antagonist of the game, since we released him and helped him get his palace back.
Palawa Joko: 'You there! I can see you are the descendants of those who helped me regain my palace so long ago... But then they left without saying goodbye! You shall pay!'
Or something along those lines.

something about sacrificing your life to save someone and kill something i recon. Maybe you kill yourself to make the sylvari which is only way of destroying the destroyer. well that sounds like end of nightfall with the sacrifiing lol and some sort harry potter mixed plot with sacrificing...
i wanna know how a asura is goin to inherit my stuff.....

But get ready for:
Guild Wars: Eye of the North, Adult Version. Coming September 30th.

Hmm, so we defeated an evil Lord Lord, a Bodyguard, a God and no doubt some being even more powerful than a god...I think that's a suitable place for our characters to retire to a house somewhere and get making Babies so when GW:2 comes out we'll have characters to play with.
Hey, at least that monk in all the preview videos had 100 energy and 10 energy regen, to go with his 999-damage skill so he could test that the destroyer could actually be killed eh?

After the first investigations into the fissures, you report your findings to whoever is in charge of your homeland. For example, a Tyrian would go to King Adelbern and so on so forth. Then King Adelbern, or the equivalent would tell you to go enlist the aid of the Asura, unite the Norn tribes and gain the trust of the Charr splinter factions.
You meet the Asuran Elementalist hero, or rather you save him from some rabid Great Destroyer Minion and he after much persuasion, and hey, maybe a funny cutscene, he admits you did "help" him survive the encounter. He takes you to the Asura King/Emperor/Supreme Overlord/etc, etc and then he makes you do a song and dance for him until you gain his trust. Probably through several faction gaining quests. Vekk agrees to follow you as he thinks you need him, the best Elementalist on the face of the planet.
Off to the Shiverpeaks where you meet Jora, help her save some village from several Great Destroyer minions. Then she will tell you are not like most of the weakling oursiders and have the strength/honor/ruthlessness and general barbaricness that would make you a good Norn. More quests to gain faction and favour. Jora sees you as a great hero then since youve proven your worth in a fight and follows you, hoping to become a great hero or maybe even a god. See, she heard bout what happened to one of the Player Characters comrades, she became a god didn't she?
So, now you and your new comrades head east, to meet with the Charr splinter factions. They send a runner to give you a rendezvous point in a dark scary forest. You go there and you get knocked out, blindfolded and thrown in the back of a horse drawn carriage. In the carriage, Jora and Vekk are discussing the many ways the Charr torture humans and eventually you get fed up and tell them to shut up. You meet the Charr who give some excuse about the general untrustworthiness of humans and what do you know? More quests to gain favour! After which, the Charr ranger hero joins you.
Well, now you got all three factions on your side, but what of the fourth? The little green men, or women? Yes, the Sylvari. So, King Ironhammer calls you back to investigate another fissure, in the middle of a forest. Not a dark scary one youve previously visited, a nice bright one, with ponies and rabbits and unicorns. You expect hordes of firey minions of The Great Destroyer, lets just call him TGD for now okay? Save me some typing. So, instead of that you find this big magic tree and when you reach there, theres bright green light and the tree opens and this little Sylvari pops out. She doesn't speak English and this annoys you at first and in a great cutscene where your character says, "DO YOU UNDERSTAND THE WORDS THAT ARE A COMING OUTTA MY MOUTH, DO YOU UNDERSTAND WHATA IMA SPEAKA TO YOU?". Rush Hour 1 ftw. Well, then you get ambushed by the minions of TGD. Turns out the Sylvari is one heck of a mesmer and she singlehandedly owns the minions. It also turns out she learns very fast and eventually gets the hang of English. And, like Melloni and Koss, she becomes attracted to Razah, because they both have similar backgrounds. They both popped out of nowhere and are clueless...
So, turns out more of these Sylvari are coming out of the forests. They, being beings of light are despised by TGD, so after more quests, you now have 4 allies.
So, you head into the depths of Tyria, play a couple of missions where you watch all the people you met in all three continents, Duke Barradin, King Adelbern, The 3 Vabbian kings and a few others. Make it just like the Battle on Telos Station in KOTOR 2. So, after the reunion, you go fight the great destroyer and against impossible odds. You win.
SPOILERSPOILERSPOILERSPOILER
Then some glowy portal opens up infront of you, just like the one Kormir ran through before becoming a God. Jora runs through hoping to end up like Kormir. Your character races her through the portal and you reach there first. At which point you do the /taunt emote and to you utmost horror, you find yourself in the Hall of Heros. And up above, towering above you are the 5 Gods watching you trying very hard not to laugh. You bow down, more to hide your face than to show respect. They each offer you weapons forged by their own hand. Balthazar's Blade, Melandru's Bow, etc ,etc. After some long cliched speech about how you saved the world the 4 time, they send you off to a portal back to the Eye of The North. There you see the ghosts of Togo, Rurik and all the other poor sidekicks that you got killed. The screen fades to black and "God Put A Smile On Your Face" by Coldplay starts playing and then. Its all over. 2 Years of awesome quality gaming ends with a bang.

It would also be interesting if your main character dies. After the Norn, Charr and the Asurans suffer heavy casualties they eventually surrender. The heros and main characters begin to die after every few battles. Eventually it is just you and Gwen. You are deep in TGD lair and there is no hope. Then....
Oh btw, right now your character is on a piece of elevated ground and he is descending some steps, talking about all the good he has done and how it all comes down to this and then.
Then you look ahead and see thousands upon thousands of TGD minions, ready to invade and then you character pulls out his sword. Gwen pulls out her staff. They look at each other and then the minions charge at you, you character fights relentlessly and the scene fades to black just as your character give a primal roar.
Then Gwen gives a cheesy dialogue about how other heros will follow in your footsteps and how you cannot be defeated because inside that suit of armour is more than just a man. It is an idea, and Mr Great Destroyer, you cannot kill an idea. The scene changes, showing the free beings off the planet being enslaved. The poor Sylvari, newcomers to this world endure pain and suffering in their first years of life. While the spirits of everyone else are broken, these beings of light form a resistance movement, lasting 2 centuries till another great hero comes to save the day?

Or at the last moment, you awake from the nightmare! And realize that it was just a dream, and you're still in pre Ascalon, lv2. Oh boy! that would piss everybody off to no end.
