I love this screen. It brings me back to Prophecies which was my favourite era of the game. The music is awesome as well. A VERY nice change from that Nightfall one **shudder**

it woulda been better if the sun was rising in the background and the sun was hitting your character and the snow it woulda looked awsome like that but ya i like this one to its better then NF and i dont evne know what factions or prophecs looks like anymore

As someone who has lived up north and seen the Aurora Borealis (spelling?) It makes me love this even more. Though a greener tinge to the Lights would be even better

I really like the music reminds me of LOTR. I also noticed the nice shadowing of my characters as the light hits them. (Why couldnt Anet release GW:EN early in the summer )

I like it a lot. I was very tired of the nightfall one. I liked the NF one when it first came out, but now...well i'll just say this new one is very refreshing.

I also noticed the shading on the faces...it makes the graphics look better. ;-)

The unique thing about Prophecy was you could see all your 4 Characters at once (you cycled them to the front).

I've hated the Nightfall menu since it first came out, so to me this change is a godsend. Now I really want GW:EN...

I freaking loved the nightfall music but they made it WAY too quiet. So all you could hear was the annoying sounds rather than the epicness.
Factions had my favorite theme, is that hosted anywhere?
This one is alright, I like changes, but I can see it getting old.
As for the login screen itself... FAR OUT MAN!
Edit: I take it back, I don't see this music getting old for a while. I still want the factions one to play after it then.

Speaking of the fantastic new background music... I didn't hear it! I still had the old Nightfall theme.
I did some poking, and as I expected, it was because of Direct Song.
If you have the same problem, and have DS packs installed, here's how to hear the new music:
Go to your DS directory and open the "GuildWars.ds" file in a text editor.
Find the line that starts with...
loginnf:Guild Wars Nightfall Original Soundtrack/01_Land_of_the_Golden_Sun.wma[500],
Put a "#" (no quotes) and a space before the line.
Save the file and you should hear the new login music!
Hopefully, a new GuildWars.ds will be released soon, to fix this problem.

I've always been a big fan of snowy maps/areas in video games for some reason so i loved the new log-on screen pretty much instantly. It's, by far, the best one yet. A pretty, snowy area like this gets me a more excited about EotN.

snow isnt really that bad i deal w/ it every winter, its not that cold. 10 below now thats cold and there called the northern lights up here in alaska
